Hi Everyone
We are due to be visiting arillas on Monday 16th June and will be arriving in the early hours of the 17th as we are on the night flight which I think lands at 01.20am. We are travelling with Thomas cook.
Does anyone know what the transfer time is like?
Also we are staying at the makris. What is it like and has anybody who has recently returned have any photos they could send me?
Any help much appreciated. Have not been before but arillas sounds like a great place.
Hi James-a
We, too are travelling with Thomas Cook this year. Normally we go with Thomsons.
The transfer is usually no more than two hours and can be as little as just over one hour. It depends on what route they take.
Sometimes they drop off at Sidaria (North) first and work their way around to Arillas, if this is the case then you are looking at two hours.
If they cross through the island then it is a more direct route and could take just over one hour.
Thomson do this route but I don't know about Thomas Cook.
We have got a night flight this year and we get there early hours.
Whatever the transfer time, take it from me, it is worth every minute. You will really enjoy Arillas.
Hope this helps a little.
Amanda
If you are landing that time and can afford it you can always book a taxi which takes about 40-45 mins. about 50 euros. You wouldnt see much en route anyway as it will be dark and you wont be sitting on the coach for two hours at that time of day. As long as you let the rep know when you get to the airport (so she's not looking for you) its pretty easy to arrange. There's a taxi link on here to book.
You can always get the coach on your return journey. We did it this way one year.
However you get there though you will love Arillas and when you get up in the morning and walk to the sea front you will be in for a lovely surprise! Have a great time! Sue
We are going with Thomson and land at 21.00 think we are going for the taxi option. But the coach journey for us is part of the holiday. If Arillas is the first drop it takes about an hour which is fine.Enjoy your holiday.
