Rainbow yes 10/10,
we went in for a meal,
It hammered it down with rain so we stayed for the Quiz, a good evening was had by all. When we were about to leave it was still hammering it down with rain.
We had our three year old grandson with us and Jimmy was not sure about us going out in the bad weather, Wait here and I will sort you out he told us, two minutes later he had arranged for Alex who works there to take us back to the Tria Adelphia

Jen and me have been going to a pub quiz every Thursday for the last 5 years. But last week was the last one ever. We all had a minibus so no driving, and it turned into a riot! Lovely evening. We will miss it...
Last October we joined in the quiz at Kaloudis as our usual name ("Village Idiots") and won a bottle of white wine. Filipos from Christos apartments was here last February, took one look at it and suggested what we should do with it (not repeatable.) So we decided to open it and try. Was not that bad!
We have the Rainbow quiz firmly in our sights for July. Maybe John and Dot will join us to be village idiots? Could be another lovely evening without the rain....
Sandy/viv - We would be rich if we had a euro for every time we've been rescued. No shame felt here luvvers!

ok here goes departue time 9-20am with thomas cook from glasgow delayed 1 hour so was not a big deal ,no trouble at corfu airport and straight in a taxi 55 euros and took 40 mins spiros took our cases up to rooms and then it down to the bar and a meal.
tuesday woke up to dark clouds and had a walk down to the front to helens for breakfast then the rain come on for 1 hr then the sun came up perfect.
stayed in room on tuesday night due to wife having sunstroke(shivers)
wednesday stayed at the pool and went to captains bar as my wife was having a massage off dee which she said was excellent 30 euros
thursday went to horizon for breakfast back to the pool
thursday night went to cocunut to watch celtic win the league.yahoo
friday went tto sadari wast time
sat and sun stayed by the pool
rate was 125
beer 3euros
special meal 9euros
alex from the rainbow took us back to airport and gave him 60 euros
by the way you can some in airpot when you get passport control another yahoo,lol

We stayed at the Rainbow last October. Thoroughly enjoyed it . Jimmy and Spiros always acting the fool. Nothing was too much trouble, especially when we had drainage problems in the bathroom. Went out for the day- when we returned problem was fixed.Mike the barman was a good laugh. Is he still there? The Anthis family made us feel at home. We would not hesitate in staying there again.
No, Mike is not there this year. Jimmy and Spiros haven't heard from him all over the winter.....
That`s a shame, because he was always pleasant to deal with- with a wicked sense of humour.
