Ok, who has been throwing wet sand at the webcam? Viv? Eileen? Eggy? Martin? John the Ref?
Maybe Marinos had a long handled brush or a jetwash that can clean it off.
I thought it was my eyes last night, but its the same today. Can anyone else see it or is it just me?
Yes Terry - definitely sand on the cam - probably from the wind and the rain of late - if it´s still there next week I´ll sort it out
Thanks Geoffrey.
Is that you playing guitar? If so are you in a band?
TerryW
Yes Terry - that´s me playing the guitar by the Mathraki pool 3 or 4 years ago - when I helped out with the entertainment. It´s many years since I sang and played with Pete Tempest and the Stormers in England though! Good to keep my hand in now and then. Looking forward to a few days with friends in Arillas - especially at the Mathraki!
Thats really interesting Geoffrey, Pete Tempest and the Stormers sounds like an early 60's band name or a 90's Rock'n'Roll covers band.
Bang on Terry! Pete Tempest & The Stormers were around from 1963 to 1966 mainly in the South Yorkshire area playing standard pop songs and Shadows tunes - those were the days!
Geoffrey, happy birthday.
Thanks Lindypops - the ouzos are on me! cheers

The webcam external housing glass should not be cleaned by an unauthorized person as it can easily be damaged.... (It has to be cleaned with special kind of cloth etc)
When I have some time I will go for a drink at the horizon and fix the "problem".
Cheers,
Dimitris
Dimitris - you must know we were only joking!
Cheers dears. Now, whose been upsetting Dimitris? Dimitris, please only apply the cleaning cloth before any beverage!

Who said I'm being serious?
Mmmm..slightly off the topic of sand on the web cam,but was the web cam on during the night last year?maybe I was dreaming, or has something changed and I missed it?
Ang
The webcam was never online during the night, except some times when it gets dark too fast due to cloudy sky etc.
I think that The best time of the webcam is the sunset,!
I'm working in a new feature at the moment. A half an hour video of the sunset available until the next one.

That bit of news has made my day Dimitris, I can't wait to see the first one, and all the others.
Kalinichta and Efharisto
BTW - I bet all the donkeys in Arillas are looking forward to some peace next week :-)
Hi Dimitris
That sounds fantastic! I love the webcam when the sunset seems to shoot a light beam into the sea and it shines all the way up the beach..... And to have it all captured on video to watch when you want to... It means Jen and me can see it so much more often than we do already! "Good on yer!"
and Terry - they have taken all the donkeys off Weston-super-Mare beach in preparation for the arrival! lol
Phil
Thanks for the news about the Donkey's Phil. I was a bit worried for them.
Its a good job that you live in the South West so that we can be kept informed of the Donkey situation. I was hoping that DEFRA would stop all donkey movements for the nex10 days.
Also, is it true that the bride and groom will be toasted with ouzo?
Efharisto for cleaning the webcam Dimitris, the pictures look nice and clear again
