Ideal place...you will absolutely love it. It's run by a really friendly family and there will be lots of other kids around at that time. There are lots of threads about these studios under accommodation. Book it!

Others can report on Dionyssos though I have only read good things about them on the forum. As for safe and friendly - everywhere in Arillas is both. The local people are our main reason for going again and again and will welcome you like friends and neighbours.

July/August school holidays are the peak time when your daughter might well find others of a similar age. But remember - Kavos, Faliraki or San Antonio it is not! We have sometimes been in the Malibu bar during these times of year and teenagers seem to be having a great time (and that's only Jen and me lol - in our mid fifties!)

Seriously though, you can quite easily get to San Stefanos (next bay to north) or even Sidari from there, both more lively. But to chill and relax, stay put!

Wishign you a wonderful holiday

WE took our daughter when she was 13 and she had a fantastic time. They usually meet up in the Malibu bar and then take it from there. There are always teenagers around ranging from 13 to about 17.No need to go off to any other resort there is all you need in Arillas. Hope you have a fantastic time together.

Dionyssos is a great place to stay. All the facilities are there and Jimmy and Spiros will make you feel really welcome. Don't forget the beach which is not too far away. I'm sure you will have a good time and CHILL.

Jojojo, I'm on my own with my two kids too although they are slightly older now.  I've been on my own with them three times and we've always had a great time.  It's a lovely place to stay and you'll be made really welcome, get it booked!!  You won't regret it!

Just to let you know Arillas is the one place I felt safe leaving my daughter when we wanted to do something differently to her. We went the year before she finished school,  so she would be 15. We stayed with Spiro, Jimmy and the Anthis family they are so nice at the Dionyssos 2. You will be addicted in no time !
We used to go walking and leave Hannh at the pool and she never felt safer.
Have a fab time and tell us all about it when you get back.

Hi Jojojo,

You and your daughter will LOVE IT!!

We'll be in Arillas with our 12 year old daughter (staying at the Tria) for the same two weeks , so maybe will bump into you.

'Just some extra advice to anyone taking the kids for the first time.
At home , our daughter is a bit of a fussy/faddy eater - but not in Arillas .
She just loves Greek food. I don't know if it's the way they cook, or the beautifully fresh ingredients they use , or what, but she eats anything and everything you put in front of her .
So my advice is, try and encourage your kids to try different things, instead of sticking to the tried and tested pizza, fish fingers, burgers etc(- all readily available if they refuse).
Hollies favorites include courgette keftedes, cheese pies, fresh sardines , grilled swordfish and anything served at the Brouklis.

(mouths watering?)

From one Jo to another, HI!

I am sure that you and your daughter will have a fantastic time.  One of my sons will be 13 by then so I suggest you lock up your daughter as he is a bit of a 'ladies man' back home!! Seriously though, The teenagers seem to really enjoy Arillas.  Internet access was added last year so that proved popular with my lot who were on MSN.  Its funny actually because I was asking Max, one of my twins who he was talking to on the computer and it turns out it was his brother on the next computer! And I was paying for this!
