Title: DIONYSIS II
Post by: kevin-beverly on November 10, 2007, 06:05:58 PM
Hi all,

As we have just booked our holiday to the Dionysis, can anybody let us know what it is like.  We have walked past it many a time and it always looks nice, but it would be nice to find out what others think about it.

I've stayed there loads of times and it's lovely. Clean and comfortable. Part of the Rainbow complex with Jimmy, Spiros and their lovely family. Kind, hospitable good food and I can guarantee you will love it there. Lucky you!

Hi

I agree with Sandy. The Rainbow is a good place to stay with a great bar, nice pool and good food. The Anthis family will make you very welcome.  The rooms are typically Greek, i.e. basic facilities (but include everything you need) and are clean.
2008 will be our 4th time here.

Hope you enjoy it too.

Steve

I agree, the rainbow complex is a delight. Jimmy & Spiro keep everyone happy & put on a fabulous BBQ & greek dancing on the saturday night. We are returning for the 3rd time next year.

its a wonderful resort, and theres nothing jimmy&spiro and family wont do ,to make your holiday perfect, try the old mans homemade strawberry wine, also the food is great, and the greek nite is fab, there is safety deposit boxes in the office and air con in all rooms,i think at a extra charge? they will also arrange car hire for you if you want, and the beach is 4/5 mins walk, the pool area is clean as is the whole resort, and the breakfast is truly english, have a great time ..yammas

Our friends Eric & Sue are staying at Dionysis 2 this week and have text to say that Haidryers are now in all  the rooms. Not sure if that includes the rest of the Rainbow complex, but that is one less thing for us to pack!!

You don't need toasters and microwaves the food in the bar is too good.

We have jsut come back from a week at the Nisaki on the Rainbow Complex.  Did a shop on the first day and used none of it as the food in the bar was so resonable.  They do the biggest full english breakfast and some days that seen us right through till the night time meal.  The complex is great for kids and the rooms are cleaned daily.  The Dionysis II would be the apartments I would want to stay in as ours felt a little damp as the sun never seemed to catch our room.
