Title: Eggy's Car Spotting
Post by: TerryW on October 15, 2007, 03:46:21 PM
Eggy,

What colour is your car please? It would be good fun to try and spot your car when it is parked in view if the webcam.

Maybe a "Spot Eggy's Car" competition could  be an activity to help get us through the winter.

Terry W.
I have a Red Peugeot. You can't miss it as I paint a sign, for every thing I run over, on the drivers door. ( A bit like the planes in the 2nd world war )
This could be the last colour you see when you're crossing the road in Arillas next June.
Only joking officer !!
( Have I said welcome back ? - Did I say happy birthday ? )

Is it a 205, 306 or 307?  Its impossible to see the model but if we look for a small red car with signs on the door we could have a chance at identifying it.

So tomorrow I could say " Saw Eggys's car at 4:15pm ( thats 2:15pm UK time)" - Then you could tell me if I am right.

Why not have a big symbol on the roof so we could spot it more easily?

Everytime you visit the Horizon, Thallassa, or Kostas on the beach we could see you parked.

Peugeot 206 Terry.
There is a big symbol on the roof.
(It's a painting of the donkey that didn't move fast enough)

I'll park by the jetty about 3 pm tomorrow afternoon and maybe wave at the camera.
You realise now Wegg could be logging my movements?
( But I only ever have 1 drink in the aftertoon )

Cheers
Negg

Eggy you lie!!  Terry it might be red but you'll have more success looking for a dusty grey/brown coloured car - although since the rain, it may well be red again!

PG32, I had to miss out on partying with Sandy and Joyce because of Eggy!  Too many ouzos in the afternoon so I needed an early night!  He's a bugger but lovely with it!  Smiffy, the 'lie' bit was about only having one ouzo in the afternoons!!

Listen you lot.
I clean my car when I can find a puddle big enough to drive through!
It's been very difficult recently and because of the dry spell. I have used old washing up water in the past. It leaves a few smears but at least it's kind to your hands.
( Anyone shouting "Fairy" will get a thump! - am I allowed to say that )
Honestly - I don't drink very much at all - Nowadays I spill most of it.

To be fair to Negg we persuaded him to have another ouzo, then he persuaded us to have another beer, then we persuaded him again to have another ouzo, then he..............

you get the drift!!

If I could train seagulls, I would get them to spot Eggy's car for me.

They would be a better shot than constipated owls.

Billy gotta jeep?? - That's cheating! - Big fat wheels, high up off the ground. Where's the thrill of the chase? -
The loose chicken you have to drive over 3 potholes to get at?
The goat wandering, without a care, in the middle of the road?
( Which you have to get, before the coach coming the other way- still avoiding the coach)
The tourist who looks right instead of left before crossing the road?
(I love the ones holding a map-Does it get thrown in the air or do they still grip onto it?)
The Peugeot passenger door is just the right hight to whip the rider off one of those quad bikes as you overtake. Jeep door to high and only catches them on the head.
(The jeep is the easy option.)  I may give learning to drive lessons next year.
I am obviously joking here - Honest.- About all of it not just the learning to drive lessons.

Terry
Arillas Seagulls are very independant and difficult to train.
I am told they will just about pinch anything.  So if that's not your real hair you could be in trouble.
( A toupee lined seagull nest ! - "Des Res" at its best.)

Looking foreward to June 08.-Don't you go and cancel and end up in Ilfracombe instead.

That ones a twinge to late Terry.
This afternoon we had a longgggggggggg lunch at Eftihia and left about 3:15 pm.
Vast quantities of Retsina plus Ouzo during the morning means relaxed sleepy type head, which also means " enough is enough" and no Coconut. " Bummer!!! "

All of this car spotting has given me acute Arillasitus.

I want to be sitting on the deck at the Horizon like the two people shown, looking at the lovely start to the sun setting over the sea. Priceless!!!!

There is another red car there.
