Has anyone visited the little church that is built in a cave at Port Timoni.
We tried to find it August but failed. If anyone has been successful in finding it and took any photos could you please post them on this site. Accurate directions would also help if anyone can help.
Thanks
John
Hi John, We found it but it was a bit dicey to say the least, we didnt have a camera with us it must have been the one & only time that Pete didnt have our's. Will ask him later to print a little map if poss. Viv
Hi Viv,
That would be great if Pete does not mind.
Thanks
John
Hi John sorry been so long getting back to you, Pete says if you go down the goat path on to the right hand beach and follow the path thats on your left up onto the cliffs and over the next cliff to your right as the two join you climb down carefully you will see it. Viv
Hi John
Anne and I went there 2 years ago and took some photo's , will try to look them up . If you go there again from the right hand beach as you look down from Afionas there is a small and very awkward path leading up to the church, it is very overgrown and difficult inplaces but well worth the effort .

Hi Viv. Dave + Anne,
Thanks for your help.
John
Speaking of churches, my husband and I biked it to Arillas's church one day this year (which I never knew existed!). Anyway, has anyone seen the house built nearby which is obviously English owned as it could be off a Barratt estate! Very strange to see!
Yes when I first saw it there were black beems like a mock tudor house which made it look very out of place, it looks a bit better now altough as you say obviously English. Viv
