I cant believe how addictive this site is. Ive only been on here a month or so and have nearly clocked up a day already! I obviously have not got enough work to do haha!!
Who are we to judge? we are all followers, it is a lot nicer sounding than addict! ha.ha.
It's almost as addictive as Arillas itself. Maybe we could make Arillas a religion, we all worship it enough!

It's strange - it's like chatting to your mates even though you've not met most people. It's like one big happy family and I don't know what I'd do without it! Cheers me up every day!

You even start to miss people when they are in Arillas and not on the Forum everday ie Smiffy!

Hi Guys! I am back... took the day off from the computer yesterday as I was busy making my own Greek Taverna in the garden. We have a gazebo and I was making a covering for it as the sun hits the decking and I hate eating in the sun.. I am very pleased with it and looks great with all the lights and candles which we had to try out with a bottle of wine last night.. just hope it stands up to the UK weather, this weekend will see if it passes the test!
Smiffy sounds like she is having a great time... I am getting so excited now! I hope we get a room with a balcony too on the first floor as well. But whatever, I am sure it will all be great. Her report was very good wasnt it?

You done well to stay off here all day. The Greek Taverna sounds like a great idea and lots of fun. Not sure what the weather is supposed to be like this weekend but im sure you will make the most of it and get into the holiday mood for June!
You would have to be really unlucky not to get a Balcony. The main block all have balconys, it is just the three or four down the side of the bar. Im sure you know which ones i mean. When we were there last year we were lucky enough to get one on the first floor right up the end. We only stayed for one night as we were staying in another part of the island. But Poppy managed to fit us in - bless her!

It was very quiet without you yesterday, good to see ya back.
It' great to have that bit of greek atmosphere in the back garden isn't it. I do the same, tea lights, terracota pots, the plants etc etc, just makes me feel better.

Hi Lisa and Steve... I have specifically asked to be put above you and Steve so you can hear me clip clopping in my heels and shoving and scraping furniture around!!! Tee Hee! Not really.
I did ask Nancy if its possible to be away from the bar though, and my friend Lynda to be as close as possible to us as she is on her own but I think it all depends what is free and who is going when etc. etc. Cant wait!
p.s. my "bedouin tent" in the garden seems to have held up to the rain last night! Thank goodness, I thought I would have to take it all down again...
We have also asked to be away from the bar so you might well be above us. Have I ever moaned about moving furniture!!!!!! I dont know what some people do.
You probably wouldnt have heard it last year at the Galini as you were on the ground floor of the smaller block, but for a few nights we had a young couple coming in the early hours and it sounded like they had hob nailed boots on.. doesnt it echo on the marble.
Im sure if youve made a request to be on the 1st floor and away from the bar Bobby will do his best to accomodate you.
We were in room 13 which was the 2nd room along from the left on the 1st floor, its a lovely room cos youve got a gorgeous view of the sea and the sunset of an evening, sat on the balcony watching that was just gorgeous!
I dont like to be too cheeky and ask as its our first time there. I dont know who to ask really, I just sent Nancy an email ages ago and she kindly replied they wont know nearer the time which I fully understand, depending who is left on changeover and what rooms are empty etc.. Whatever we get I am sure it will be fine
