Where in Arillas is possible to use the Internet and download pictures? Or is there a wi-fi access somewhere if I bring my laptop with me?
At the pool of Mathraki Apts there will be a wifi area, http://www.mathrakistudios.net/ (http://www.mathrakistudios.net/)
I'm thinking of doing the same for our place too but I'm still investigating...
I have the Idea of offering a hot spot at our taverna customers from 11:00 in the morning to 16:00 the afternoon I;m still searching for a secure solution.
See you soon,
Dimitris
Sounds good! I am not arriving until August so please let me know before that.

Dear Customer,
We would like to thank you for your interest in our services and we would like to apologize for not contacting you earlier. This was due to a heavy demand for broadband connections and our installers were struggling to cope with it.
As a result of this delay, we would like to hear from you whether you are still interested for a wireless connection.
Please let us know by replying to this email.
Kind regards
Dimitri,
Thank you very much for offering the WiFi hotspot in your Taverna! This is what I call most excellent customer service :)
Much appreciated and I'll see you there in August with my laptop!
You will be extra busy Dimitris and some might have a permanent "spot" now, you wont be able to shift them.

Can you please translate this to me? either my english is getting worse or It must be a isue of sence of humor.!!
:)
Your offer of wireless internet will make you busier then ever, you may even get some regulars now who demand the same table every afternoon while they go on the internet, much like a football supporters having the same seat every time they go to watch a match. You will never get them to leave.
Well I'm used to this problem with the customers that come for meals, especially the front tables by the door which are the most poppular.
Therefore, I'm ofering the free WIFI at times that we are normaly not so busy otherwise it would not look good at all at our taverna.
Good idea, may have to bring my laptop out with me the weekend after next!
Sorry Dimitris not explaining it very clearly. I just thought you will be even more popular than ever and no one will ever want to leave.
I have tried the WIFI at the Brouklis and it worked fine. A beer an the internet whilst it was raining was just what the doctor ordered.
Now Marinos also has WIFI enabled at the Horizon. You can also use this from the beach outside the Horizon if you want!!

I am hoping to bring my laptop but it is not wireless enabled, it's 4 years old and in computers, that seems to be a lifetime. I have my broadband provider at home (Tiscalli) but not wireless. How can I get online in Corfu . I believe I can buy a wireless reciever to plug into my laptop. but don't I need another provider in corfu, or maybe a virgin mobile wireless card ?
Hope there is a tecky out there ?
Dimitris. Everytime is good at Brouklis.
Gary.
You just require a usb or pcmcia wi fi adapter....then you can log into any hotspot...ie Dimitries or Horizon....& browse the web....(with there blessing of course)..you can then log on to your webmail via tiscali`s web page..or Hotmail if you have an account.
That sounds too easy to be true, I will get hold of one and bring it with me, wish me luck..... Thanks again for the help...
Please excuse me my ignorance I take it wifi or whatever the correct intials are, are for wireless, I do not think ours is built in so do I need to buy something to bring out? STOP laughing at me! I really do not understand this stuff, my daughter has just set up an hotmail account for us as she said we should be able to access from anywhere, hopefully correct. and yes Dimitris we will keep you busy even if it is only in drinks, boy you are goona be wiped out!
See previous post ...just obtain a USB wi fi adaptop (under £15) or a pcicma card(looks like a credit card that slots in the side of your laptop ..under £20.00)
Then you can have your lunch at Dimitris & log on :-)
I did read the prev post please do not be cross with me, people use different words that obviously to the knowing means something, if I go into currys or wherever I have a smidgen of an idea what they are talking about! My expert if I phone talks to me in a strange tongue too so I gain what I can from you lot! Do not really understand but get a drift, which really impresses him indoors! yes really!!! See there are really sad folk out there and you are talking to one! Ha.ha.
Hi folks, thanks for the tip, I have just recieved a wireless reciever in the post and installed it on my PC in 10 mins, Mine is of EBAY its a USB model and was just over £11.00 inc postage, it is a dongle type USB BlueNext BN-WD54G wireless USB adapter,
This simply plugs into your PC and can seek for a connection
Hope this helps....
o.k. read that! is there a particular thing I should be looking for on a scale of 1-10? you are all sooooo clued up!
