Title: New Lighting
Post by: John B on October 01, 2006, 11:28:41 AM
Hi Everybody;

Can anyone please tell me when the new lighting which runs along the cliff path between Arillas and St Stephanos will be finished.

Thanks

How long is a piece of string?

We had lighting put up our road at the beginning of the year, but it's not connected yet.  We are very happy to have lighting so will just have to wait until one day out of the blue they come along and connect it. :-)

Eileen.

John are you saying the cliff path THATS FALLING into the sea is having lights put on it.I did notice some digging up the very top in May but did not realise that they were bringing them down the slope into Arillas.

Hi Harold;

In July we noticed across the top of the cliff there were new lamposts erected and cables fitted, didn't notice any on the path leading up from Arillas. Don't know how far they are going with it.

The lights are on and working , wouldnt reccomend walking that way when its been raining tho we did after the storms last week , and i grew about 6 inches due to the clay being stuck to  my flip flops , and boy was it hard work trying to lift up my feet , only takes 15 mins to walk to San Stef that way tho

It took us about an hour to get to San Stef... mind you Mike does stop and look at everything whilst I am power walking ahead!

Hmmmm, the lights were shining bright when I was last there, didn't stop me going head first down the cliff though (harsh), I highly recommend a torch!
