Title: New restrictions on bringing food products into UK from EU
Post by: turkeyfoot on April 17, 2025, 10:56:32 AM
Hi

Due to rising foot and mouth disease within the EU, until further notice no cheese and meat products, or products containing them, can be brought  into the UK, including sandwiches containing such products.

Whether or not you can take these products on board a plane for consumption is not clear.

Does not apply to N.Ireland Jersey,Guernsey or the Isle of Man.

This applys whether the goods are packaged or not, or bought from Duty Free outlets.

No Greek sausages for me sorry to say. Only Metaxa.
