Title: Dumping Old Topics
Post by: OldFox on July 18, 2006, 08:23:40 PM
Hi!

Is there anyway to dump old topics; by the initiator, after a time period, with some explosive device!?

Thanks

Why would you want to dump your old topic?  There are other members who may find the replies useful.

You have me intrigued now, what old topics would you like to dump & why?

Hi!

I felt that my previous thread on 'rooms in Arillas' was now redundant. I take the point that it may still be of use to someone else, even though its effectively given me answers. But, there comes a point where information gets spread too thin, in too many groups and topic areas - then it becomes like a search for the proverbial needle (or perhaps more appropriately, a grain of sand on Arillas beach!)

My question basically related to whether the person, who raised a topic, was - at some point in time - authorised/allowed to archive/dump the thread or request it to be buried. This was a generic question and not directed at any particular thread raised.

My assumption is that the CMS administrator takes decisions on thread termination. ;-)
