Hi. Does anyone know the cost we should expect from Arillas to San Stefanos please? Thanks!
I beleive it was around the 20e mark but I think now it could be up closer to 25e.
Others will know more.

Dear Laura taxi from Arrillas to san stefanos, if it helps the green bus company runs buses there, limited service but only five euros or there abouts
regards
Sorry Laura, posted reply in wrong place, there is a bus service from Arrillas to San Stefanos cost around five six euros, green bus company
regards Michael (prince 123)
Brilliant folks, thanks for the replies. Where does the bus leave from? We are staying right down at the front - is there much of a walk to the bus stop? Thanks
The bus normally stops by the junction of armourada
Twould be interesting to find out how much 2 people on the bus would be compared to a taxi.

Thanks Ger!
Surely bus would be a lot cheaper....2 adults and 2 children.
Might even get it one way to test it out!!
Thanks everyone!! 3 days to go!!!
Being Devils advocate here surely 4 people at 5e a pop could be close to a Taxi cost?
(unless it's 5e return?)
So a taxi picks you up and stops you hovering around waiting for a bus and possibly releives your stress level.
Interesting , this post.. Taxi or Bus.

Our children are young so assuming they would benefit from a slightly cheaper fare. An interesting one, I will ask around when we arrive in Arillas. If the bus was close to taxi price I agree - taxi would be much more convenient and reliable.
We are hiring a car during our first week so would just be the 2nd week if we wanted to explore!
I'd just explore first week and relax the second 😀 .
Hi Truth. Yes I know, was just in case we fancied doing something!
It seems to be very hot at the moment! Can't wait to get back!
Get yourself off to Agios Georgios , the opposilte way to San Steph, I prefer it there , its much quieter
Karl
Ag. George is far from quiet at the mo. I ventured there on Monday to meet someone and no where to park along the front. Beaches quite busy so maybe July is when many Germans appear there. It does seem to be more German orientaded with owned Villas/Appts and nowt wrong with that.
but..... and my opinion only, I think that also reflects in the prices around the area.

Its definitely more geared up for the Germans , I agree . I just think it has a more Greek feel to it than San Steph aswell to be honest
Hi Truth yes we explored ag George the very 1st time we visited arillas and our keen to go back this year to see it. We really liked it and much preferred it to San stefanos. San stef was more for the water activities although I see we may be able to do some from Arillas.
Karl - I can agree with the more Greek feel it generates.

This is indeed an interesting thread. I do wish there was better taxi service between resorts. I remember when our kids were 11 and 8 we walked over to San Stef and went into a Taverna (wish I could remember which one) and we had a delicious lunch and then they gave us a lift back to Arillas. I loved Greed people ❤
Hi Sonia, we walked over from Arillas to San Stefanos when we first time we visited but had no kids.
We are used to walking alot but I can see by the weather forecast that temperatures will be too hot to walk this year.
I do agree about a better taxi service but again, I love how authentic Arillas is.
I'm asking this question and I'll probably not leave Arillas lol 😂

I may be out of date with Taxis out from Arillas, but I was informed that the Taxi had to come from Sidari which was chargeable, then from Arillas to were ever. hope this is wrong but you never know.
Greenbeans
Sounds very logical but our local Kavadaddes service travels to Corfu Airport so the same would apply and , I think, the cost is around e65 From Airport to Arillas.
Business wise it makes sense that a Taxi would rather do the Airport run than possibly lose the sale because they are doing a 1 hour to and from. It that respect they may charge a tad more.
(If that all makes sense?)
