That was great Tony, one question "wheres the pizza"? we always hire a quad for the week so next time we might pop out for a pizza as it seems it only took you 5 mins to get back..."pizza espress" or what.

Hi Ang the Pizza place is on the right had side if you are coming from Arillas about 150 yards before you get to the junction to go up the main street in San Stef you cant miss it its quite a big place now

Hey Tony,

Really enjoyed your little video - & I meant to say a few days ago how much I enjoyed your pictures.
I particularly loved the sunset & fishing ones - well done you - they were gorgeous.

Like yourselves, we love going out on scooters, but not at all sure that I would trust myself to start filming whilst on the move - I see disaster written all over that one :-)

It was interesting to catch our first glimpse of the Zambeta Apartments because that's where we're staying when we come back - just under three weeks now.

Thanks ever so for sharing - I really enjoyed both pictures & video!

Love the video Tony...  its much quicker by Scooter... I remember the first time we walked up that hill in the midday sun.... thought it would never end and it was a bit of a killer.. not so bad now you know where its going to end up.

Glad it didnt end up as a "you've been framed clip" too... reminded me of when we were in Crete with our two girls in the back of a jeep.  Mike kept saying dont miss this, keep filming and the eldest was hanging on for dear life as we went round the bends to the Samaria Gorge as if she was Steven Speilberg... one of our favourite hilarious family moments.

LOL BG all good fun though eh , it was Anne who had the camera sat on the back i was gonna buy some tape and fit it on the front somehow but i thought it would be bound to fly off as soon as we hit 1 of the pot holes so entrusted my wife to do the shooting i think the only thing that spoils it is the wind noise but i guess you cant have everything
Right time for a Mythos i smuggled home !!!

My husband could not believe it when he heard the noise and asked what I was looking at and I said I was watching someone collect a pizza on a scooter from San Stephanos to Arillas.
P.S. Loved the photos.

You've inspired me Tony,
I'm going to try & give it a go. I thought Anne's filming was ever so good & as it's a trip we frequently do on the bikes - aren't we lazy eh - although in fairness we have walked it on occasions it brought back a lot of memories.
I absolutely adore hiring scooters & driving about & discovering new places.
The first time we did it was five years ago in Acharavi where we were staying.
Unfortunately Christian had forgotten his driving licence that year but I had mine so off we went to duly hire a bike.

When we got to the hire place the guy took one look at me, then looked at Christian & said, "You drive!"
I know I'm not very big, but I don't think he had faith in my abilities to even hold it upright.
He advised us that if we were pulled over that Christian was to say his girlfriend was suffering from sun-stroke & he was manfully taking the reigns - & they call us the weaker sex eh?
It did make me laugh - but I would be pretty rubbish if it was me doing the driving!

I couldnt do it either Becky.... Mike is a big chap so it would look like we would be doing wheelies anyway if he was on the back!  :-)
