Appreciate any recommendations for tavernas that can offer an alternative to chips and/or rice with meals. Would prefer oven potatoes with meals but most tavernas in Arillas seem to go for the easier option.
They do roast potatoes at Gratselas. I think they also do them at Brouklis
Some of the specials at the Marina were advertised with the option of a baked potato also.
I'd think most would do it if you ask, just pop in and have a word beforehand 🙂
Thalassa do the best mashed potato, which they are happy to serve with dishes that have rice/chips instead.

I think pretty much all of the restaurants will serve with vegetables, if you ask.
I am not keen on rice or chips with everything & I can confirm that if you ask they will willingly offer veggies or side salads. My friend loves the greek beef tomatoes & has these with every meal instead of the chips/rice.

Deffo go to Brouklis for their lovely potatoes and fresh veg. One thing I find odd in Arillas is that I hardly see any carrots?
