Michael, if this is your first time in Arillas, take advantage of this forum's comprehensive knowledge. Somebody has been, seen, done, even lived every aspect of it.
As a young man on your own, put shyness aside and smile at everyone, old young or in between. When they say kalimera, look them in the eyes and say kailmera! Never walk past facing the other way.
Arhina is opposite Annas studios, slihtly up the hill. Join in their evenings, and get to know Tasos who runs the bar. And of course Anna, his mum. Mention PhilandJen if you need an ice breaker. They will tell you how awful we are.....
But in truth, you will find so much to keep you happy if you look for it.
Have a great time and tell us all about it on forum when you get back.

I also arrive as newbie to forum. Three holidays to Arillas. Makris Tria and this year the wonderful Mathraki, and already booked for Mathraki for next June. The help and advice from the forum has been great, so with help from younger members of the family , grandson age 9 we are now members.
Ouzo 12 welcome to the forum, thank heavens for our grandchildren, mine do all sorts for me as regards finding my way around the computer.
You will love the Mathraki, its like Makris.... quiet and peaceful but only 4/5 mins from the sea front, run by a lovely family. Excellent food at the bar and sea views from the balconies. You will find milk and water on sale from the bar as well, so no need to carry them back.
Have a wonderful time in June, maybe we will see you then.

I agree with everyone about Arillas it is a fantastic place cant wait to go back in June does any one know if Yannis [sea breeze] has got his pool bar open yet he was still painting it when we left this year
We walked past every day for weeks in July from Bardis Sun Studios. Long history with Sea Breeze, but the new Vinceremo serves great food. The chicken souvlakia is excellent. Maybe a need for more personal service, and timely delivery. But their new young employee Stefanos provides both eye candy for the female customers and great service.
I will conquer... Vinceremo.... They will if they smile and welcome folk like their young and wise employee Stefanos knows how to.

I am also new to the forum hope to make new friends and exchange our experiences in the wonderful arillas We have been 3 time and have booked to go back in June for 2 weeks at the wonderful Mathraki Studios
We are going to the Mathraki Friday for the second time this year it is truly wonderful but have already booked for next June to give us something to see us through the winter.
When in June are you going we are flying out from East Midlands on the 17th June for two weeks hope to see you there
I feel sure we will see you we fly out from Bournemouth on the 21st June
Kevin G you was in arillas the same time as us in june we spoke to you at Sharons pool bar on several occasions when are you going next year
still waiting for june to arrive get xmas over and we will be in countdown mode
