We have only ate lunch there once before but we will be back. The food being served today looked really good especially the Mirage salad.b

Mirage food is brilliant, their bifteki is the best!

Wotta wet start to the first Sunday in July.
A tad of thunder and lightning joins the 25deg already on offer at 8am.
Me-thinks Tavernas and Bars etc will take priority, over the beach, in Arillas today.
(and that's not rocket science!)

WOTDOIKNOW?? - Temp is now 26 and warm and no more sign of the wet stuff.
Maybe the rain is coming your way but if it takes 3 hours then UGOTTAPROB!
and.... going for the easy option?? - That's just not cricket, is it??

Better to check the European Darts as Josh Rock could beat Mike Smith (World Champ) this afternoon,
but as I have already said...WOTDOIKNOW?

and...................26 deg becomes 28 deg in "Arillas Today"
Even the sand is finding it hard to get a spot on the beach!!

Nowhere to park so nowhere to swing a cat and too hot to swing a dart or two.
I am now home at 15:30 with a whisky + ice (Heavy on the ice.. a tad more than sank the Titanic!!)

TV will be on , socks will be hung out to dry and I will leave the Arillas world to manage on their own.
Cheers

How are visitors and locals enjoying the heatwave?
Your balcony covered in socks Neill? 6 weeks till we can enjoy Arillas again x

Eggy

Hi Mo n David,
Nice to hear from you and.... yes, so many socks were hung on the balcony that the washing line broke!!
(Now using steel cable to take the weight)
Wegg still in the UK and to save on laundry duties I am turning both the socks and underwear inside out every other day. I tried a clean pair each day but after a week I could not get my shoes on & belt to do up.

Many enjoying the heat but tis a bugger to try and work outside after midday so up nice and early and garden duties from 7:30 am , which is around 25deg temp wise.

Another busy July in Arillas plus all surrounding neighbours.

Looks like I have 6 weeks to get my darts game in order.
Cheers

David has been playing a bit. Can't wait. Hope you can give us a few games.

I am fairly certain you are correct. It has been rumoured they were opening mid July.

I think it is Kev yes. If its 26 Euros for a Greek Salad and two beers , like I read somewhere , I won't be visiting !  I know prices have gone up in the 2 years we've been away but thats steep , well I hope it is or we'll be living on bread and water 🤣🤣

I was told the prices are reasonable. I will have a nose at the weekend.
(Did the Greek salad come on a pallet???)

It had to be around 34/35 deg today and came home early to watch the darts. The house temp is 27.5 with all shutters and windows closed. I shall roam around in me undies so apologies to any Jehovahs Witnesses that call unexpectedly.
(That's a War Cry that you will never hear again- Or is that Salvation Army.??)
