Jen and me arrive on 7th July this year. Come and say hello.
Because of my work we have always had to go at that time of the year, and it has varied from hot to hot-hot-hot over the years. Last summer it reached 48 degrees C on one day. We sat on our bench (other posts will educate you about Sandy's and our bench. Don't you dare be on it when we need it....)
Before going on the beach, we decided to give the beach a miss and sat in Thalassa with a cold drink. We went on the beach at 7pm for a while, till sunset that day. Then we had a great evening in some of Arillas' tavernas.

Talking about benches phil, they had been moved from the jetty when I was there (can't say "last week" any more)....maybe they had blown away/been washed away over the winter or maybe they will be put back now the season has started.
I'm sure i /we can give more info soon :D

Horrified about the benches Sandy luvver. The smaller beach I can (just about) cope with but the bench????????? I am really serious about that

Calm down phil.....not OUR bench....just the ones on the jetty. I think they must be removed in winter. Let's face it....they would have taken quite a battering in the last 6 months.
Task for tomorrow....spot the benches on the jetty on the webcam...

Sandy luvver she has a persona of the calm and collected, but inside she is a boiling cauldron full of feminine hormones angst and aggravation. It must be why we are together after all this time. I can't handle a woman who only wants to wash your shirts etc. Germaine Greer eat your heart out - Jen is better at it than you are. She didn't burn her bra, she put it in the recycling....
