Hi
We are concidering booking a lounge at Gatwick. Anybody had any experience of using these?

TUI have changed our flight times 2 hrs later. We have already booked our taxi and they are unable to change  the outbound time so its an extra 2 hours at the airport
Do not want to change the taxi firm as they have never let us down.

We have paid £100 for 4 hours use. This includes speedy service through security.

Are they value for money?

Geoff

Hi
Just be breakfast, tea/coffee. Not really into drinking alcohol early hours of morning with a breakfast. Mainly for comfort

Hi Geoff

Generally we fly early so never previously bothered with Lounges.

However we squeezed in an extra week last September & flew afternoon from East Midlands so thought we'd try a Lounge - TBH we found it very good value with unlimited food & drinks and as you pointed out Fast Track is included which sometimes can save a lot of time.

Enjoy - Neil & Jill

We could never afford the lounges when our 3 kids used to come with us but in the last few years we have booked them and it's been an absolutely fab start to our hols.

I'd say is only really worth it if you are planning on having a few drinks. This year we have paid about £75 which seems quite pricey but a couple of years back we hadn't booked one and in one of the airport bars we had one glass of wine, one beer, a cheese toastie and chip butty and it was nearly £40 plus you are searching for seats etc as so busy. If you book through the holiday extras app you get 10% off.
