I have just spent a full twenty minutes staring at the moving images on webcam. Arillas is warm, sunny, deserted.... My empty bench just there, waiting for me.... The waves lapping gently onto the sand opposite Horizon.... Total peace and tranquility. For a while I just dissolved into it, unaware of anything else.
Thanks for the experience Dimitris. 1 frame per second or not, it is so worthwhile.

Had a look myself and YESSSS! THE WEBCAM IS NOW WORKING FOR ME!!!
I have not been able to view it for months. Great to have a 'preview' of my favorite place before I get there in a week or so.
Yammas,
Martin.
Have a good one Martin. At least the flights are back. Hope to see a pic of you on Arillas Today - quite sure our Dimitris will oblige. And a holiday report when you "go abroad."
Wear your Arillas Addict T-shirt with pride, and live my dream for a while. Bon voyage
Phil
ill second that ,,martin ......yammas
If I'm right, watching the webcam, Arillas is now under dark clouds and waiting for rain. Hope not. But such a change from this morning. Sara or Eggy, please report. Storms on the way?
Phil

Flipping eck, it looks a tad grey on the old seafront today!I am sure that the first cocktail that Janis sips will more than make up for a few clouds mind you!
Just looking at that beautiful calm Sea and thinking how nice it would be to be sat in Ammos having a pre-dinner cocktail...bliss!

Hi Tonynew,
George's dog is called Dias (I think that's how you spell it!) He is a really friendly dog and my daughter loves him! Last week he was there as usual keeping a close eye on George!! I think he does go to the beach for a dip now and then!! Wish I was sitting outside at George's right now, gyros and a cold Mythos................
you lucky person elsmum i could just eat a Gyro as i type, mind you it would probably end up jamming the keyboard up lol
Not to worry only 8 weeks friday and we will be sat there
Tony
Fabulous news Heather. Congratulations to all. Hope mum n baby are well. xx
Oohh, nice to see the beach looking lovely and hot with all the brollies open! Wish I was there!
In 48 hours, two sleeps, Jen and I will be at the airport waiting to be beamed up into our natural home. Arillas looks so quiet for this time of year. We have just spent the last hour watching the webcam and all the peops paddling in the sea. It looks wonderful and they are so obviously enjoying it.
But it is also obvious to me that there wasn't enough. Arillas is having a lean season like the rest of us. I really hope they all survive and continue to provide the fantastic service we all get there.

There are no sunbeds for rent and no where left on the beach. The only space left now is in the sea! - Book a table early and eat before the tide comes in!
Hope you are well me'dear as is Pete.
Negg n Wegg
viv luvver, Sunday was a Greek day. And many are still here in the sea on Monday evening. Probably public sector with no jobs to go to on Monday....
Surprise surprise we haven't bothered with the webcam for a week... nor next one.
The north end of the beach is waiting for you in September, if it's anything like yesterday. Pebbles yes. But still there. Wish you were here....
Phil
Hi Phil and Jen
This is the Somerset Ratbag calling. Sorry you're having such a rough old time in Arillas-by-the-Sea. I'll be there in two short weeks so tell Pedro to hide away a sunbed especially for me, and Yiannis at Graziella to save me the best of his garlic prawns. Let me know if Eggy or Dimitri want me to bring anything out for them - last year it was a strange mixed request: a jar of Picallilli and some black dry-wipe markers !
Enjoy your last few days and let's meet up for a nostalgic drink when we are all back home and sadly Arillas-deprived.
Lots of love, Ratbag X
Hi there JC. Thanks for your sympathy. It has been so tough eating the best food in the world, drinking Mythos and voddie frappe, smiling and laughing with dozens of beautiful people. And swimming in the seriously warm sea. Some have been heard to complain it isn't refreshing enough. Oh no, not I. I will survive....
Spiros and Poppy send their love and can't wait for you to return. Will see Dimitris in a short while and let you know. Humpty Dumpty has fallen off his wall, but we will doubtless catch up with him soon.
Usual venue for our nostalgic drink?
Love from both of us
Phil and Jen
