Well all booked for 2020 and Heidi and I will arrive Sunday 17th August for a week of good life and as always staying in our beloved Brouklis.
Then on 23rd my boyfriend joins us and he will have his eagerly awaited Arillas debut for the second week.
Life will be good 8)
You arrive the same time as us , well if its Sunday the 16th , the 17th is Monday , don't miss your flight ! lol
We will be seeing you around again then

Well, all the flights from Finland have been cancelled for the whole summer and Heidi is not able to come unless a miracle happens :(
But I am still hoping that my flights in mid August will happen and Boyfriend (actually we live together now! :) ) will try and change his flight so that he can come for two weeks.
So here is hoping that the flights will happen and if we can go that we wont have to isolate for 14 days on our return to UK. If the former gets cancelled and the isolation does not it is a no go for us. The Governments are governing the out come for both eventualities and I have no other action that to turn to deities.
So I have renewed my requests to all the Gods from Allah to Zeus and will try and stay positive :D
If we don't have hope we have nothing Erja !

I believe you and me in isolation for a fortnight would cause us giggle ourselves stupid so best to avoid that me thinks 😂
Well my furlough has now been extended until end of September. So IF the BA flights go to and from Corfu I WILL be going to Arillas on 16th August and can isolate no problem for a fortnight coming back :)
But as we all know nothing is sure these days but here is hoping! :)
It all depends on Greece dropping their quarantine really as even if you test negative at the moment you have to first have one night near the airport then 7 days in Arillas.
Just received word from tui, our July holiday (6th) at the kaloudos village has been cancelled, hopefully our stay at the kaloudos in September will go ahead with none of the quarantine regulations in place (fingers crossed).

Well my cautious optimism is growing by the day and the trepidation of things changing suddenly lessening a bit. Seeing people posting pictures from Arillas in Facebook and telling as always how lovely and safe it feels to be there. And with this new found optimism I went ahead and ordered the Beer tokens/Euros from the post office for a delivery tomorrow :)
Unfortunately it will only be a week visit with Boyfriend and we are arriving on early evening on Sunday 23rd but it will be the longest holiday that we have had this year but the most needed ;)
So no Heidi to giggle with you Eggy but lets see if we can get one out of Boyfriend :D

Well to cut a long story short I arrived back from lunch to see that the man that was on the next sunbeds to us on the beach Had moved them very close to ours (less than 1m) so I politely asked him if he could give us some more space. He looked at me like I was stupid shrugged and said (very arrogantly) what you want me to to do? Wear a mask? Laughed and sauntered off to the Sea.
Just then Mick returned and when I told him he (ahem) quite forcefully moved his sunbeds back so the 'delightful' man came running out of sea Shouting hey! hey! and roughly moved them back. Anyhow after face to face 'discussions' Christina the sunbed lady explained to the man about the worldwide virus that people are frightened of getting (in so many words) and he moved 3 sunbeds down lol. All that said I did say to Mick that there was no need to mention the war!!!
Jo, Im glad that Mick said something and got something done about it. Why should he not mention the war, lets face it we are fighting one in a different way and it could still be a matter of life or death. Lets just hope the man has learned his lesson and wont do it to anybody else.

As in Tirol we still have an awful lot of" do not mention the war"!guests I fully understand where you are coming from with the sunbed incidence.
With us it happens on the mountain walks - in hotels with sun´beds etc etc!!
We are so sad that we cannot come this year to Marinios and the famiy - where our story began leading to our build etc etc- we had originally booked flights etc for May - then we decided to change everything to mid Sep - begin October
Now Eurowings have cancelled our flights - so no chance now for this year
Hopefully we can still manage it next year as soon as they open

A big part of my heart is always in Arillas - and great respect for the Greek way of coping - obviously they have more concern for their own peoples wellbeing as " just econmics" They will survive as they have always done because of the family support - I wish GB and Austria could also go that way
