Do theese type of tickets exist?
as im thinking of moving out to corfu for next season.
i dont intend on coming back! but im gonna have too ! lol
so can i get an open return ticket?
where can i get one from?
and roughly how much can i get one for?
and of course the cheapest!!? lol
thanks, ash
Hmm, I'm not sure on this one! As we don't go for the regular 14 nights, we often book outbound with one airline and then book the return with another. Why not book one way and do the same, albeit from Corfu, when you are ready to come home?
Most flights you can now book just one way so that is by far your best option.

Never heard of open return tickets but, with easyjet, singles back to the UK are petty cheap if you can go at short notice.
I've seen them from £35 each inc all taxes etc. - To Gatwick
Cheers
Negg
That all we paid... £75 each return to Gatwick. All depends when you want to go I think.
You could always drive down mate. Obviously going through Italy and getting on the ferry is far less hairy than the high road through Albania, Croatia etc. One of my DJ mates used to do it when they were all in Ipsos in the 80's and 90's, apparently takes about 38 hours if things go your way but a lot of that is done on the ferries!
Nearer the time for coming home you can easily give Sue a ring at Castaway travel in Acharavi and she will book your return flight...that is if you do decide to return!!!

ah thanks alot, dont fancey driving,
dont think my 1994 peugoet 106 will make it there im affraid ! lol !
Ryan-Air do cheap flights to Brindisi Italy, from there you could get a ferry, single person without a car isnt expensive. You could do a return trip if you cant get a cheap flight back. Just an alternative thought.
i'd suggest easy jet, the flights are so frequent you'll be able to get pretty much anything to suit you.
Ash, when you do get a ticket with you get me one and I'll come with you!!!!! LOL.
PS don't tell Stuart.

Is it a diesel or petrol?
Only kidding mate, you're probably right. With the cost of fuel as it is you could probably hire a private jet down for the price of the car trip!
Hi,
No, open returns dont exist anymore as nearly all fares are based on one ways.
On the rare occasion where there is a special return fare, the reason it is special is because you have to committ to a return date. ( And pay all your money up front!)You can book a ficticious return date on some return fares and then pay the penalty to amend it.....best to book a one way.
Hi Sue,
There was a mention on the CTG that there could be a Christmas flight operating from Manchester this year...have you heard anything?
Eileen.
Hi Eileen.
That sounds good to me. (Manchester)
Christmas in Arillas. :)
riggers..
Hi Riggers,
We went over to bring in New Year 2007, but left from Gatwick. We booked through Sue, so I'm hoping that she can help again this year. :-)

Only heard Peter's tantalising snippet. Maybe he is going to charter a plane himself.
I havent heard of anything this end. The usual Ga twickChristmas flight should go ahead again now we know there will not be an Easyjet flight. Details normally out around September time. I guess pricing it will be a problem this year with fuel prices being what they are!
Thanks Sue. I'll keep saving and wait until then. :-)
Do you have a mailing list for those interested this year?
Eileen.
okay cheers for the help think ill just book the cheapest flight i can then!
wheres the cheapest atm would you say?
