Hi peeps...Long time no post..lol..
Looking for some info on passport dates!!
We are going Arillas (home) july 6th-17th.. and now have booked an additional child to the party....The only trouble worrying me is her passport runs out on 2nd September!!. Does anyone know if this would be a problem ?.. Easyjet just said to check with Embassy!!
Thanks.

This is definitely not a problem in Europe. Your passport is valid up until the date it runs out.
A friend of mine only had 2 days left on hers when she was on the flight home and was perfectly fine.

Thanks for reply Suzy!!
I don't think will take the risk though, it's a friend for Granddaughter to play with whilst there.... :-)
Can't believe how much easyjet have put their prices up since i booked in Mmmmmmmm let me think!!!...Anyway £257.00 extra for one child with suitcase (need this in case Eggy needs some requirements..lol) ...Anyway can't wait.... :-)
Forgot to add, Her mum sending off for new passport tomorrow.....See you there anyone in July'ish :-)
riggers dear drinking friend, Suzy is right. EU passports will work. But far more important, we must make a date. Jen and me will be in Arillas from 11th July until she goes back to UK on 31st, and nobody can find me, imagining that I will ever leave. They were WRONG!
Maybe we'll come up to Kaloudis and eat with yous and Sue? Let's have a bit of fun together whilst we can.
Much love

Er hang on.... Jen us going and you are staying??! Details!!
Yes of course PhilnJen...will see you both there!!...Be it Kaloudis or Nut....will have GOOD TIMES :-) xxx
Oh and if you staying put....i'm wiv ya mate :-)
Hope to bump into you John. It will be brief though we arrive on the 16th. As for passports we have just renewed ours (11 day turnaround}
My son flew back last summer with only one day left on his.
The passport is valid if it is in date when traveling in the EU.
Other countries may require at least six months on the passport.
Cheers John , will deffo see you there....might do a Phil and stay there myself....I WISH!!!
Hi Riggers.
I read a piece on this very subject by travel writer Simon Calder.
As long as the passport is valid for the time you are away there shouldn't be a problem.
Cheers.
Pete.
