I've never stayed there myself, but given its position, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We stayed there a good few years ago and loved them.  they are set in their own grounds in a lovely quiet position.  A lovely distance from resort centre and beach.  I would say about an 8 min stroll.  The only thing to be aware of is that others have posted about a few problems with the shower but we had absolutely no complaints.  We stayed in the upstairs apt. You will be fine I'm sure though.

hi roger

haven't stayed there, but further on at Elena Stella. The bakery produces wonderful bread cakes etc and to be right there on site, we would have put on even more weight than we did last September! A little supermarket next door does all sorts of goodies too.

You are correct, if you turn right (facing the road from the bakery) you soon come to the Rainbow, which has a great pool, family atmosphere and ideal for a pit-stop. Great place to socialise, we love it. Next door to the Rainbow is the Marvel, opposite is Captain's table (lovely, BIG meals)  and just a minute further on is Brouklis and hey presto, you're in the middle. Like Jo says, a very short walk to the sea front.

Have no qualms agreeing with her - an ideal choice for

Hope this helps

Hello everyone,
In order to avoid misunderstandings,
The bakery that bakes the bread etc its not at the same location as the Bakery apartments which are next to alexandros apts near the rainbow bar and pool.
The apartments are named after their  owner the Baker of Kavadades.
the Arillas bakery shop  has no relationship with it at all.

By the way , I know several people who have regularly been choosing to stay in this apartments.

We used to stay at the Bakery Appts and loved everything about them. They are basic but, to me it's a detached property, set in lovely grounds, and with the Rainbow/Bar pool just minutes next door can make a great place to be if you need an early morning swim plus some breakfast.

Being one property you only have one neighbour. Those above you or below you.

So, good location, everything in easy reach, and with the odds in your favour for a quiet holiday, it must tick all the boxes. Basic but had all you need for a base.

Cheers

Oops. Goes to show that even Arillas Anoraks have more to learn... I had always assumed that the bakery had rooms above. Thanks Boss (Dimitris) and Deputy Boss (Eggy) for putting me right.

But roger, that puts yous even nearer the action, and in a wonderful position to take advantage of the whole village.

We will be staying with the Boss in July (can't wait) which is just a minute along the road towards the sea. In any case, you have chosen well - no hills, everything you want just a few minutes away, Jimmy and Spiros at Rainbow at your beck and call.... And endorsed by Eggy, the kitemark of Arillas. Well done 10 / 10

I stayed at the Bakery apartments the first year I came to Arillas and can endorse everything Eggy says about them.

You're not so wrong phil.....theAvgerinou family at the bakery/supermarket have been known to let out rooms and an apartment above the shop on a private basis.
