Got up to find an e mail from EU claims saying they had won the court case from the long delay we had in May 2015. we got £542.36 in the bank just in time for next week in Arillas. Its been a long time coming and would have been up to 400 euros each if we had done it ourselfs but can you imagen the hassle of letters going backward and forward and then taking EasyJet to court. No way could we have gone through that. Instead we just forgot all about in and sat in our lovely new home and its arrived as a great surprise and just in time for us to come home again. xx

Our October Holiday is largely sponsored by a payout for delays last year as well. will be great to toast TC in the Rainbow in a couple of weeks.

Well done viv! That'll get you some special times in Arillas............

My turn in a few weeks - would rather get there early than delayed. No amount of money compensates for loss of Arillas time!!!

Well done! Result! We had a two hour delay a few week ago as the plane got stuck in a rut!!!
Another hour would have been good for a claim! ! Lol

Brilliant news, Viv.  Put it down to a `victory for the little people`!!!   Pleased for you.  I`m currently sorting out documents from Thomas Cook, so I can give them to our insurers, for our cancelled trip last week. Gutted we couldn`t go but health comes first and there`s always next time.

Absolutely right Paul. We've had to cancel twice through my health. Paid out no trouble at all, and it was so worth waiting and going felling better.xxxx
