I sent swarms of Mozzies out, looking for you, Terry , but none returned.

Was it a combination of all those remedies posted here that wiped out my search party? -
Was it the Metaxa that swung the odds your way?

Hoping , but know the answer, that you both had a very good "Incognito" 2 weeks.
(Got any euros or a UK cash card for sale??)

Anyway.... Wishing you both a very safe, non stressed and non delayed trip back to the UK , guys

Stay well

We had a good journey back, thanks Neil, and the Euro's and pre-loaded card are primed for September when hopefully Grexit will be a fading memory.

You won't get better than this folks....

Hi Jackson, it was good to meet you and your son. It was an excellent night, as usual with watching Splinter, and its a good time to meet people. Hope you had a great holiday.

If anything touches my skin they die or at least get totally woozy and go away 8)

just been stung by a mosquito in my garden in Sheffield! whats that all about!

For the first time ever on holiday I was not bitten by mozzies. Or I did not react to the bites this year. Normally I get at least half a dozen good ones. The two things different this year? 1) Mozzie nets at the Horizon 2) Its the first year I have been a gin drinker, do the little so and so's not like gin me thinks?

Either way, it was a relief not to be bitten.

My mozzie report.

Tempting fate, but Jen has not had one in 12 days. She has also let the guard down and not bothered with knee-high PopSox. Just the DEET spray without fail every evening all over feet and ankles up to knees. And any other exposed skin.

Inevitably I haven't had any - I haven't had one in 13 years of coming here.

I can't tell you why, but this year has turned into the least mozzie affected one ever. Sadly others had far worse earlier in the year. Maybe the heat?

Not bothered by Mozzies , Phil?

Is that because you keep pinching Jen's knee high pop sox??

I knew it wasn't a good idea to post what I said. At 10pm I sit here with about 12 on my legs. Jen hasn't got one! Since 2002 I appear to have been immune, but apparently not now.... It could be that I am always dosed up on antihistamines these days. But beware everyone, this year I have had my first ever mullering by the little darlings.

It won't happen again  - Jen has brought enough DEET spray for half of Corfu. It's just from tomorrow we will both be wearing it.....
