We were there in September 2013 and July 2014. It was wider in 2013 and the sea was really warm. Last year the sea was rough  at the beginning of July so didn't spend as much time on the beach as we normally like to.

Lets hope that even if it is still pebbles, there will soon be sunbeds so that people can still enjoy the sea (presuming of course there is enough room for sunbeds!).  After all, places like Barbati and Kalami dont seem to suffer with having a pebble beach? For me personally, it is more being near the sea and taking in that wonderful calming sight than the actual sand bonus. (I am still keeping my fingers crossed for July mind you:)). I have been trying to find some pics on here from last May as a comparison but can't seem to.

Looks like there is a bit more beach on the webcam today. If it keeps getting gradually busy should be o.k. by the time we arrive in July.

There's definitely more beach compared to last week Not as much on the north side. The south part seems to be clearing quicker. There's still lots of pretty big stones in the sea though. I stubbed my toes on few when i went for a swim this afternoon lol. Anyone who's on facebook will have seen my photo updates. I will post them here once I'm back

Weather predictions suggest northerly/north-westerly winds for the next few days at least.
You know what that means, people - the return of the beach!!

What A Great Report, I Did Comment A Few Weeks ago Regarding the Position of the Horizon Webcam,
(Not Complaining, )But Before It was In a Higher Position Giving a Greater Veiw Of The North Beach, the Head Land Over To Mathraki Island, and Sometimes The Gravia Island, As I Say No Complaints  (I Think I'm Getting Home Sick )
Arrillas Has Away Of Doing this, As Most of You Know, September Beckons Can't wait.

Arillas Beach today,!!

There is much sand outside horizon hotel and thalassa , Kostas on the beach,   still more pebles  under the marinaki and portofino but it is improving every hour.!!!
