I'm pretty sure i'd added this to the calendar already?!.. ah well

Can't wait! :D My mum is really looking forward to it as well. She hasn't been abroad since 1996. All she has heard from me over the past year or so is 'Arillas this, Arillas that'.. now she'll get to see it for herself.  Although, she's seen that many of my photos, she feels like she's already been lol

33 days to go! Whoop!! :D

Enjoy Rachel. The true spirit. Mirage is almost surreal - the sea, road, beach and pool almost merge into one image. Nikos and Angela along with their ever growing boys will make your mum feel like a million dollars. If she likes seafood, get her to try Vangellis' prawn saganaki. If she likes it as much as I did, you will have no work left to do.

Thanks Phil, we certainly will enjoy :-)

I have eaten there a few times myself already but only breakfast & snacks.  I can't wait to experience Mirage properly.. on the balcony looking out at the view first thing in the morning, plonking my backside on a sun bed, jumping in the pool and tasting some real food - and even if my mum doesn't like prawns, I've already added the prawn saganaki to my list :D

Rachel weren't you supposed to be staying at the Horizon or have I got mixed up with last year??

Rachel B

Hi Jo,

Yeah, that was last year. I was supposed to be staying there for the Beer Festival, had to cancel. Then when i knew i was able to make it after all, Horizon was fully booked so stayed at Akti.

I'm working my way round all the accommodation in Arillas! haha
