Just getting used to this new forum format and came across a 'buddy list' .... what's a 'buddy list'?

Hello Cypress!
One of the new functions of our forum.....

Inevitably, there will be times when members get along great and times when personalities clash. Our forum provides a way to handle both instances. The buddy list allows members to keep track of users they enjoy talking to, while the ignore list hides users they do not want to see.

    Edit Buddies - Members may add or delete other members from their buddy list.
    Edit Ignore List - Members may add or delete other members from their ignore list.

Dear Dimitri, thank you for the enormous lot of time and hard work you have once again invested in us Arilliacs. The new Forum is fabulous!
But... The new Buddy list made me check the date. No, it wasn´t April 1st!!!
I feel the Buddy list makes the very base we stand on tremble, as if hit by a small earth quake. Surely we are all buddies, not to be ignored? Buddies are allowed a squabble now and then, it does not spoil real friendship.
