Hi all
Getting all excited about my first holiday to Corfu - so glad we chose Arillas it sounds so lovely.  We are staying at the Mathraki from Friday 29th August for 2 weeks.  Can anyone tell me if it is possible to contact them directly and request a lower floor room - I don't travel light and hubby already had hernia surgery this year and don't think he will make it to the top!!

You can contact Mathraki and I am sure someone will be along with the email address soon - they honoured our request for an upper floor last year xxx

I think someone actually carried my case up for me last year, if I remember rightly Yvonne.  I could be wrong but I don't think so.  The same thing happened at the Tria.  Better service than I have had in many high class hotels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure if you ask nicely they would get your baggage up for you if you are on the upper floor:)

I got my case carried up for me too. The e mail address is Mathrakistudios@hotmail.com . They are so helpful and if you explain why you want a lower floor they will do their best to help. We are there for a second time this month and can't wait as it such a lovely place.

Akis or Nikos will make sure you get a lower floor room if you request one, then it will be easier to throw your leftover bread to the chickens in the olive grove....they produce the most amazing eggs.
