To the Travers clan,I am sure you will love Arillas and your family will be welcome at any of the restaurants there. Arillas is quite a family oriented place no one will look strangely at you for having boisterous children. We have stayed at Makris a couple of times, once in 1 of the large apartments. I think there are only 2 that sleep 6 though I could be wrong. 1 has many balconies but is up a steep flight of stairs and the other is ground floor and just has the balcony by the front door. They are both spacious, and, the family there are very welcoming,  enjoy, Carol
Get the beers in!

hi Mossey,

Are you staying at the Makris?

lynda

My sister and her family stayed there last year(we were at Nikos) and their apartment was very spacious- 2 bedrooms. The pool was rarely busy and there was generally a very relaxed atmosphere around the place.

yes, hope it's going to be ok, bit of a mine field , this booking of holidays! went to Arillas must have been about 10 years ago, wonder if changed much, think it's a bit of a trek from the airport though, have you done anything about car hire? got good price over internet, from Arillas, but they wanted deposit, and to send credit card details, not very keen to do this!

No we haven`t looked at taxis as there are 6 of us and we would need 2.I beleive the transfer is about 1 hour so a taxi would not save us a massive amount of time. We have not stayed at Arillas before but booked after reading this forum,i am sure we won`t be dissappointed.look forward to meeting you there.

We aim to pick up a taxi as it is such a long transfer.  You can book online.  There is another link under taxi on this site and you can find the email address. Very useful!

We have stayed in the Makris 3 years running I believe the first time was in a 2 bed appt and it was very spacious.  The 2 following years we rented 2 appts and put my 2 eldest ones next door which worked well didnt have such a fight for the mirror.  Bit of a walk to the sea front where most of the restaurants are so make sure you take a torch for the dark walk back. We are going in June and staying at Anna's which is worth a look if you are out walking.  Enjoy ya holiday.

Hi, Mossey,  if you go to this sites homepage and scroll to the bottom you will see that a map is being made.  If you click on that you will see a handwritten map of all the places in Arillas and Makris is there, we are staying in the Galini which is just around the bend.  I found this helpful to see where everything is..
