Just thought I'd post this in case anyone is interested..........
Avro.com have a 6am flight to Corfu from Birmingham on Monday 30th Sept for £37.50

..but what's the cost of a return flight?! - expensive i bet. I've looked at a few cheap flights returning 1,2 & 3 weeks later - its been over £300 altogether so not working out cheap at all!

Ha ha who said anything about coming back?  x

Bella

But you can get back if you wish lol 22nd October with Easyjet into Luton for £85.25 or with Thomson on 18th for £118.99 x

Rachel B

Haha.. I wish!

Those are certainly better prices than the ones i found, then again, i was searching during summer. When i go on holiday, i like it to be scorching! lol So it's only July or August for me!

Torture me Bella and Rachel.....

At those prices how could I resist.

The "total" price for a "one way" to Corfu from Birmingham is £79.00 which is a very good price
A return flight a week later = £238.50 (return) - its good but the Easyjet flights from Luton are cheaper.

I am having a short break with my daughter 2nd to 6th Oct.  Belfast to Gatwick £30, Gatwick to Corfu £31 with EJ and back into Dublin with Aerlingus  for £130,  super prices travelling from Ireland, just hoping now for a few days sunshine!!

Those are good prices Dorothy!
I'm trying to convince my mum to get a passport so i can take her for a short break next May. If i see flights at similar prices, i'll just book them then she'll have to get a passport! lol.. who would be mad enough to say no to a week in Arillas! haha

Hope you have a lovely break Dorothy, and i hope the sun comes out for you :-)

Rachel - check out EasyJet - they put up tickets yesterday for next May - I've just been looking at Mid-May from Luton - return for £78 with reserved seats and flying at weekends!
Home is where the heart is - CORFU :-)

Rachel B

Thanks Geoff,

I'm yet to convince her at the moment! grrrr - I'm going to take her a passport form and as soon as she posts it, i'll tell her i'm booking flights, then she has no option! lol

Good price that though, hope they'll still be reasonable if/when i get round to looking!

Thanks :-)

Hi Dorothy, Thomson are doing holidays/ flights direct from Belfast starting in May.  We have had to do the two flights each way for the last three years first Bristol and Gatwick the last two years.  Might be able to squeeze in a wee sneaky week either at the start of the season or the end of season in 2014 as they are direct they hopefully will work out quite a bit cheaper

Hi Sandra and Jim

Thanks for the info, have had a look at the flights, times good but quite expensive at the moment.

Where do you usually stay in Arillas?

Hi Dorothy

We usually stay at Rainbow around middle of July, though with Thomson's it might be late July if we take a package, although they don't do Rainbow.  As it's the first flights from Belfast for three years we are hoping a lot of people won't notice and they may reduce the price accordingly!  Well we can live in hope lol. Still might do the Belfast/Gatwick/corfu when the easyjet July flights come out depending on price. Where do you normally stay?

Hi to my favourite Irish contingent in Arillas - Dorothy, Sandra'nJim! Not forgetting Pat and Annette.

I feel good to hear that some of it is going your way at last. We are used to finding cheap, direct flights from Bristol or Gatwick, but it has cost you all a pretty penny or six to get home to Arillas.

Have a great time in October Dorothy, and we'll see you next July Sandra and Jim. With any luck, Pat and Annette as well.
