We usually visit Arillas in May but this year we are going in August. We go through Thomas Cook and coach transfer is included. Usually the coach goes via Sidari and San Stef and takes almost 3 hours, a long time with 3 kids! Does anyone know whether the coach goes directly to Arillas in August as its main season? If not we will look at arranging a taxi for at least some of the party, dont think 3 kids, 2 adults, pushchair and cases will fit in one taxi and dont want to be paying loads out if we can avoid it. Thanks

Book a mini bus, each time we have been with Thomas Cook we have had a long transfer.

Does anyone know if this is the same with thompson don't want to miss a minute of our hols let alone 3 hours.

Three hours??! Christ! That's just ridiculous when you think that a txi is around 45 minutes. We hate paying out every year but couldn't cope with that journey free or not! You may get minibus cheaper if other families share. Expect to pay around 80 euro each way :(

Can be hit and miss with transfers
We have had the TOUR but we have also had the Direct route
I usualy Ask at the Airport when we get in then decide what to do
but fix a price if you get a taxi at the Airport

The last couple of years with Thompson we have gone direct, but I think it's all a bit hit and miss.

What dates are you going? We also are family of 5 going in August.

Last year we got mini bus and there was room for 12,I think.

Only 7 weeks to go and I cannot wait!!!

We must have been lucky - we`ve never had a three hour transfer, with either TC or Thompson. Hour and a half roughly, which isn`t too bad.
Any longer and we might be tempted to get a taxi but that`s 100 euros less to spend in Arillas.

Mini bus transfer price for this year with Arkokal is 90 euros each way.

Cheaper than two taxis with the added bonus of you all travelling together.

we are flying out on the 12th august too but from manchester leaving at 9am, there are 5 of us staying at the rainbow, as you are coming from glasgow we propably arriving at a lot diferrent times or we would of shared a mini bus, last time we came i think the transfer was around a hour and half, which isnt to bad.the transfer does has advantages, as it goes round the other resorts and shows you how lucky you are whenyou finally arrive in arillas

Travelled with Thomsons, landed 7.15 pm cases came off last, bus was waiting for us and we got to the Mathraki 8.20 pm.
That was one of the quickest transfers without a taxi that we have had in the last few years.

We usually visit Arillas last week in June and first in July.
Travelled with Thomsons and Thomas Cook, both took at least 2 hours to reach our destination. Except for 1 year we were suprised, they dropped us off first! This year we have a hire car from the Airport.
