Tony, we could go to the Malibu first and then it's all down hill to the Nut!  I'll volunteer to carry the plasters for all the blisters incurred on our trip!

Who's carrying the supplies though ,It's a long way from base camp to the Nut and i don't want to be uttering Lawrence Oates  last words "I am just going outside and may be some time" although in the past i have been more tham some time when going out for a pint ;-)

I've read many books about walks but I can't find this one in any of my usual sources. Mind you, I've done this exact walk more times than I can remember. With and without bottles, with and without legs....

Mind yous, there are many others. Rainbow to Brouklis, Mirage to Thalassa, Marina to Kaloudis, Thalassa to Coconut.... I could provide details of all of them.

Could this turn out to be my vocation and future career?

As long as I can be your guide just make sure I dont dehydrate.I will have to have plenty of samples of the liquid on route so non of you drink something thats bad for you so if I fall over after a few you know you will all be ok........

Phil we can't fit them all in one walk! Tony bring spare batteries for my torch!
Also a strecher for Kat, looks like she will need it before anyone else.

Best walk I ever did was last June, Coconut to Horizon then on to Akti, I woke up in my own bed at Mathraki the next morning with no knowledge of how I got there or when, and we were on the top floor.

Those glasses of water Hanna serves me with my ouzo are lethal.

When we went in July I was sober every night (after the walk up to Makris).

Erja meluvver, we's two would be the bestest possible guides to alcoholic Arillas. You can do the beer and I'll look after the politically correct Russians. (Black or white, I love them both....)

wish we could be there in September

we were very bold one night, started at graziella then mirage, horizon, cocunut, malibu then rainbow then up the stairs to slumberland.  Jenny the cleaner had been told not to go to number 1 before 2pm "cos they won't be up before then" by Jimmy, he knows us so well - "Good afternoon Mr and Mrs Uuume is the normal greeting!! not too loud please Spiro!!!

Maybe for the willing but not able a tin of red bull will do the job - it gives you wings  - no supplies needed, no torches, no plasters,  just a working elbow!

Do you think we all have alcohol problems....

sandraandjim

No, it's only a problem if the bar is closed,  the Coconut will stay open until the last punter has gone!

katmc1

Excellent will do some research when I am over.

loving this. The thread is supposed to be about walking.  But we're all busy trying to prove that even if you can only waddle, or be carried, you can have whale of a time in Arillas. I gather they even provided the whale this year....

Its jo wissets fault she started it!

kat, our lovely Jo starts lots of things. But somehow I identify with all of them. Like me and Jen, she and all of her family are Arilliacs to the core.
