CORFU-LONDON (STANSTED) FROM JUNE 2011

Ryanair, the world's favourite airline, today (7th Apr) announced its first routes from the Greek island of Corfu to London (Stansted) from June 2011 which will deliver 30,000 passengers p.a. and create up to 30 local jobs in Corfu.

Ryanair celebrated its first Corfu route by launching a 1 million £7 seat sale for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in May which are available for booking from midnight tonight until midnight Monday (11th Apr). Ryanair's Corfu routes go on sale on www.ryanair.com tomorrow.
Home is where the heart is - CORFU :-)

Absolutely, Geoff! Stansted is not good for us, although we have used it a few times, but any additional option for flying to Corfu is most welcome

Good news indeed! Stanstead is not really good for me either as I love the convinience of Gatwick because I live on that side of London.

But for anyone living in Essex this must be brilliant news :)

This is brilliant news for us too! And we are from Czech republic! I hope I'm calculating it right. But combining price of flight ticket Brno & London + London & Corfu and some accomodation there - for example from Angela01, is still cheaper than price offered from travel agencies out of box! I have to calculate it once again. But if this is right, we will be there every summer for sure! :)
