7.00 for 2 beds & 1 brollie, I think it was 4.00 for 1 bed & 1 brollie.

Corfu island is a wonderful place full of lovely people.  if only the whole world was like Corfu it would be a much better place

Looking forward to our first visit to Arillas in August and hoping to use this beach a lot. As we have to go in August is it a lot quieter on this beach and are there nearby places to get something to eat and a drink?
Thanks

Jo Wissett

it will be busy as this is when the Italians arrive! Although until around 11 it will be almost deserted, that's when we go! All the tavernas along the seafront will be able to provide with drinks and snacks but Ammos is particularly special I think. Perfect place to while away a couple of hours!

Beach this year is perfect, widest for years and hardly a paddle to the North Beach where there is acres of lovely soft dry sand.....boooootiful !!!😎😎😎

Beds and brollies were there in may. Not many people using them though

We are going late August so hopefully a little bit quieter.

Well we spent every day for 2 blissful weeks on this lovely beach on our first ever visit and were very pleased to find that until about 3 in the afternoon it was not too busy at all. Even after 3 it wasn't too bad but this seemed to be the time a lot of Italians came to the beach. The lady who rents out the sunbeds was lovely and we never had any trouble getting one. The sea was nice and clear and perfect for snorkeling.
The Marina was one of the nicest hotels it has been our pleasure to stay at and all the restaurants we ate at were great.
We will be back!

Great. Sounds familiar. You have fallen in love with Arillas like all us addicts.
Of course you will be back.🔅

Already booked for next year :)

Just enjoyed two weeks in Arillas staying at the Kaloudis Holiday Village (our 12th time there, and 15th in Corfu).  The whole beach was wonderful when we arrived with loads of sand.  The central beach was very wide and the north beach had plenty of room for two rows of sunbeds and no wading around the little headland.
However a couple of storms changed things.  The south winds more or less halved the width of the beaches, although leaving enough for one row of sunbeds.
Fortunately beautiful weather over the next few days restored much of the damage and the beaches are still in quite good shape, if not quite as magnificent as at the start of the month.  Wading round the headland is once more the norm.
Some people say sunbeds have spoiled the north beach, but I disagree. The sunbeds are invisible until you round the headland, and there are up to 40 about sets of them.  The further north part of the beach is as it always was and this year with much more sand.  Personally I like a sunbed, rather that a mat, but think that might be something to do with advancing age!  The two people who run the sunbeds are both very helpful and obliging providing clips to keep your towel from blowing away and brushing sand off the beds when needed.  By the way they have been charging €8 for two beds and a parasol this year.
Hope this report is useful to anyone who has not yet ventured to wonderful Arillas.
Regards
Pat
