A beautiful day in Arillas, 16.6 degrees and sunshine, after a night of high winds and storms here I can't stop looking at the web cam.

The winds have blown all the leaves off our palm trees, which suffered badly in the snow. The sky is grey, I'm on the wagon with antibiotics for an ear infection, and it is cold. Oh boy could I do with a slow walk along the beach, then a lovely hot meal in Armourada. Sandy and Val, thanks for a short daydream before I have to go grocery shopping at Morrisons Aaaaaargh!!!!

Phil.

Hi Phil,
Oh, how I feel for you!
You seem to be even more miserable than me,
just having a bit of a cold, but the sky is grey and
it was extremely windy over here last night as well.
I wish I was in Corfu too and can't wait !!

Best wishes to you and Jen.

Oh Phil you poor thing, get well soon, no booze and in pain, horrible weather and having to go shopping. I am sure Jen will mollycoddle you for few days and you will soon be back to normal.

I know where I'd prefer to be, too!

Phil, I hope your ear gets better soon, being on the wagon is no fun, is it?  ;)

Love,

Lovely sunshine and 16.5 degrees, if I close my eyes and stretch my imagination I can smell the sea and hear the waves.

Our back wall has been blown down after being there for 20 odd yrs. Whats worse its sheared down our olive tree. My mate next door thought I had gone barmy when I almost got blown of my feet trying to get the stone off it.
I think it's gone for ever but will keep whats left of the trunk in the ground just incase. I just want to be walking through the olive groves ,down onto the beach, have a swim and then go to dinner in our favourite place in the world. Vivxx

I'm sorry you've lost your tree Viv....but don't give up on it. These trees are very hardy. I have several olive trees at Kouklospito and sometimes they look half dead....but the next year they spring back to life. So you may be surpised....

Me give up, no way. Peaple might wonder in another 20yrs why ive got a stick in the ground but there again they might just be admiring our olive tree.lol. Vivxx

So sorry about your beloved olive tree dearest viv luvver. Like us, yous two will somehow spend your days there in spite of INR or TTG (The Tory Government) or SBI (Stupid B***dy Idiots.) Arilliacs all. We KNOW what it means.

I have a little video taken of us all at the same day, but would have to get permission from all corcrned to post it. I know Sandy & Ally wouldn,t mind but havent heard from Alex, Suzzanne for quite a while (O Dear forgotten who else was a tiller with us ) will have to take a look, anyway I cant post it without asking and all those years ago I felt a bit silly anyway, but now relish the experirance, dont suppose it's something many people have done. lol.
