That recent request you made for a local exchange rate based on £1000 would vary quite a bit. I have been told that for an amount that size the commission rate would be "negotiable" - it's still around e1.124 today with a 2% commission charge.

You may be able to get around 1.5% commssion on a grand.

Things look like they're improving a wee bit now. When we were over in April ,we got 1.11. Hopefully the rate will continue to rise.

I haven't physically seen it "on a board" but was told it's e1.145 in Arillas today.

Today it's "plummeted" back to e1.124. - Still aint bad I 'spose.
