A.T.C. Strike in Corfu

Hi, Our friends arrived last night after spending a looooong day as there was an air traffic control strike here for 24hrs. Have heard rumors of another one next Thursay. Hope it dosent affect any of you. Viv

Hope it does not happen at all or if it does  ,does not last too long . Very annoying for everyone caught up .

I am off to Kefalonia next Thursday and saw that this Thursday gone all the flights got there but were delayed 5-8 hours.

I SINCERELY hope this wont happen next week, but I am mentally prepared to spend some time in the airport bar.

Bon voyage Erja luvver. Wish Jen and me could come to Kefalonia with you... If that dastardly flying machine were on strike, we'd at least keep yous company in the airport bar till it changed it's mind!

And at the other end we could do all the healthy stuff.......... beer for breakfast, beach with tins of Mythos, salad and beer for lunch, lashings of beer with dinner followed by a few nightcaps - ah for a moment I thought I was back in Arillas!
