Ah Sara. Eggy's name in lights at last. But in chalk on a blackboard at least. Our Arillas owes him a bloody great round of applause for creating all this.

I justloved his picture of you with the camera. Cringe????? You reminded me of Jen's lifelong  friend Maggie and her gorgeous mother Pat. And father who was another me, a drunk who knew what life was about.

So do you and Gary.  Live every minute you get at villa Theia.
love from Phil

Just picked this up - Sorry

Kevin - You smooth talking Devil you!

I didn't really know how popular this game is around Roda n Acharavi.

Last week , Three W's held an open K/O , organised by moi. We had two boards on the go and 27 people played at e5 per person entry. The games were sponsored by a couple of local traders and the prize fund was e100 to the winner and e50 to the R/U.
Both also received trophies to keep.

From 11.am, to the finish of the matches, there must have been 40 people plus in Three W's ( Players n supporters ) The final finished at 6 ish and then someone organised a pairs K/O - I went home shattered at 6:30 - Long day but lots of fun.

Good for Three W's though. And we , together with Night Owl got two players through to the quarter finals! Alan n Capt Bob.
Unfortuately they were drawn to play each other.Alan won but then got beat in the semi. The final was won by a wise old veteran called Terry, from Roda.
(Won the Leicester Open many years ago and has played the likes of Lowe n Wilson )
Last one out of the hat for the draw and last one standing.

Many Greeks play this game very well and I think it's their laid back attitude that does them proud. One day they may have a player in the top 6 -------------
------------  If they finally get around to it and not Avrio.

Cheers

Arillas recently said bye bye's and Kalo Taxidi to Jersey Steve and Jersey John plus families. Like many others they will also be very sorely missed and they all were an instant hit with everybody here. - Very sad to see them go.

The extra bonus for me was that Steve n John were perdy damm good dart players and two Knock outs were organised at the Rainbow.

The first one was an all Jersey affair and the likes of Capt Bob, my neighbour Makis and yours truly were blown away in fine style.

The second gave the locals a bit of revenge with Alexandra, daughter of Rainbow Spiros meeting Makis in the Final. ( Alexandra only 14 and a hard player to beat )
B U G G E R !! - Should never have taught her the game!

Bottom line was much fun had by all and what a feather in the cap of Arillas to have two familes from Jersey holidaying here. I love Jersey to bits - Wottanicaplacertobea!

A few pics from what were super evenings.

Steve and I after a long hard evening.

John who won the first K/O and apart from many congrats also got a bottle of Ouzo.

OK , I confess I do not look like I'm alive in these two pics. Twas a long night.
But....... All it takes is a lovely Jersy Lady to perk up an 'ole git!

Her's some very happy people.

Mr Neighbour Makis with Alxandra after winning a very good final.
( Alex has since had her revenge more than once!! )

Proud father , Spiros just had to get in the picture and remind me that Makis plays for Night Owl in the Winter. ( Are we worried at Three W's ???)

Excellant times and many here hope to see you all here next year, good people.

Cheers

justlove it. We "met" Jerseybean with me hanging out of the edge of the Nut, for at least thirty seonds. Thanks dear for saying hello. So glad you worked off the Ole Git at darts. He might be older and fitter than me, but he will never catch me up in the dancing stakes. Soles fell off me shoes that night in the Nut. Literally.

love and joy to all
Phil

jersey steve

Just Phil I never met you as I was ahead of Jersey Bean when she said hello, hopefully next year I will meet you for a beer or two.

Right back to the darts board for some serious practise for next years title.Hope to see you all then.

Great stuff Neill...looking forward to a few games in a few weeks time....

Last nights Darts activity at the Rainbow produced some very interesting games.

Attended by Nan, Mary H, Katerina n Enid with Cheryl and daugther looking-
-------- Let battle commence

Mr Corfusoon was up for it and "soon" 4-0 down iin "Corfu". But he did get the hang of the game and just missed 136 out with 2 x treble 20's.
(Very unlucky Frank - WOTSITALLABOUT?)

Playing a "Round Robin" gave some good results with Rainbow resident, Geoff, tying with Alexandra 4-4. ( Poor Dimi at Rainbow , losing 2-0 )

The final  was won by Geoff beating Alex 2-0 and a worthy super bottle of wine went his way.

So..................... Who muscled in on the dartboard when we all "retired".

.

These lovely folk are "Kas" n "Col" better known as Karen n Colin with 2 Arillas Virgins "Sal" n "Phil"

I think they are all having a good time here.
.

Better get another game organised for next week.

Cheers
