Just a few pics, people, of the Darts Singles K/O held at Armourada last night.

This is a worried Nickos, Night Owl, after finding out he's drawn Anne from Armourada in the first round. ( She beat him 2-1 in a very excellant league game )
Sadly for Nickos she beat him 2-1 again and now goes to he semi-final on presentation night.

Here we have Xrisanthos, Three W's, very freshh from hitting his 3rd 180 in 4 weeks.
But... Not enough to lose 2-1 to an inform Gary from Armourada, again!.

Armourada did us proud last night as excellant hosts and , as you see , it was a good time had by all.


The Birthday cake celebs were for Ann, middle right, who was suprised by daughter, Dawn, with a "special Delivery cake" for all.


This all sums up the NTS ( Not To Serious) darts leaue where it may be nice to win but it's a lot more fun to have a very good time. Anything else is a bonus!

Semi Finals next week with Anne(Armourada) playing Pavlos (Three W's) and Alan from Three W's against Gary ( Armourada )
But... Where are Night Owl players, you may ask! Casualties along the way--Just like Eggy here who couldn't hit a cows a**e with a shovel.
Next week will be a cracker and a good outside bet is Ann. She dunnalf play well

Fraid not Sandy - I was busy losing 2-0 to an Arnourada opponent.

Last Night at Three W's was "Award Pesentation" and the finals of the singles K/O.
It was an Armourada vs Three W's final with our very own Capt Pavlos against a tidy little player in Gary.
Paul took the first 501 in 22 darts and Gary hit a very nice x15 witn onedart to lever at 1-1. Pavlos's night though and very steady darts put him in front of a double he did not miss.

Good time had by all and Three W's laid on Souvlakis / Roasties / Chips and fish in batter ( Xristhanos special ) for all. Live music by local guy Darren May and a little dancing by some- - Not moi though.

All other pledges watch out this summer as I will attempt to srew as much euro as possible from you. - For our new season. A lot of fun and never under estimate a Greek dart player!

Darts looks to be increasing in popularity as the summer moves on.

Tria Adelphia's new board is well used by guests and The Rainbows new board, of only 2 months, has already taken a pounding.
(14 players last night in a K/O won by Rainbows Spiros)

Coconut's new board and cabinet sits very well at the back of the bar so that any loose missiles do not damage it's clientele.

Armourada has kept their board up and even Vassilis has invested in a set of Darts.

Night Owl, Afionas, also have a weekly darts night, with a choice of an outside or inside board.

A few K/O's and games have already been played at all above and it's amazing how many holidaymakers have regretted not bring their own darts!

Three W's, Agious Stephanos has become very popular with their local holidaymakers and Xrisanthos, owner, enjoys many games with many people.

Take a look. It shows what's happening in the bar. Just like the Arillas cam and you could give freinds back home a time that you'll be in the bar to give them a wave.

The only drawback for me is that as everyone's game here seems to improve my game seems to be going the other way. I prefer playing during the afternoon.

I am hosting a Darts K/O and bumper raffle at Three W's to start around 9pm.
A bit of fun and darts can be supplied,

I also hope to organise one for the Rainbow the following Wednesday 29th July.

And Night Owl @ Afionas have an open air board which can be fun with a slight breeze

Quite a few places in Arillas now with boards should you get "BOARD" on the beach.
Armourada , Tria Adelphia , Coconut , Rainbow and Kaloudis have had one for quite a while. - Do any of you know any more in Arillas that I don't?
It's rumoured that the Marvelous Hotel (Hotel Marvel) are putting a team in for the Winter and we may also have a ladies Team.
Pack yer Darts people, if you play. Borrow some if you don't.
