Anybody else had a memorable homecoming. As we were driving out of Belfast Airport on Monday 16th.Airforce One flew over us on its approach to touch down.50 minutes the main m2 to Belfast was closed to all traffic both ways.We got clear in time, but on the way up to our home there was massive Police activity.Hello Hello i thought he cant be visiting our quite wee spot in the Castlereagh Hills, but he did.Two hours later President Bush paid a 30 minute visit to a small primary school on the hill behind our house. So we saw his arrival and departure.Believe me A Presidential Motorcade is always impressive I had the privalige of driving in two of them when Pres.Clinton visited some years ago(I still have the White House car sticker)but to see  one coming down a small country road is awesome.23 Police Outriders and at a rough count 40 assorted vehicles.Did,nt get the duty free unpacked till next day.

What a great story! Unfortunately just hellish long cues to passport control in Gatwick today and the train home with no celebrities or dignitaries in sight.

LOL. Ash-wolves, that's awesome mate! That would have made my holiday more than a look at George W.

I once rolled a herbal cigarette for a world famous rock star who comes from Birmingham. It was in a pub in the jewellery quarter, it was when I was 18.

I used to work in a hairdressers years ago, and the Queen was visiting a nearby school, so I got the chance to sneak out of the hairdressers and watch her pass in a great big black pope mobile type car.  Even got some photos, but they are on old camera, not my digi one, so can't post them.

Edna weren't too pleased left under dryer with her rollers in tho.
