Hi Everyone

Have just been reading Lance Chilton's book 'Walks in Northwest Corfu' again.

Found three things I didn't know:
1) Arillas may be named after the Greek word for clay (àrgillos)
2) The large island is called Petrokaravi (stone ship) or Gravia
3) The smaller islands are Yinaika (woman or wife), and Sykia (figtree).

Has anyone else any fascinating facts to add to the list?

Best wishes
PJ
