Ha! Ha! You're laughing Ger!

Christian & I stayed at the Akti Arilla last September & the Coconut was a mere hop, skip & a jump away - or after a particularly good night a bit of a staggered weave back!!!

I think that both bars are just as busy but are different in terms of what they offer customers.  I find that my eldest son likes to spend a bit of time at the Mailbu as there seems to be more teens there his age as well as the internet and the Karaoke disco part but us old fogies prefer the more subdued atmosphere at the coconut.  Or should I say subdued until all us lot get there! Over the years I have found that regulars stick to the same one as a rule.  I for one feel like I'm being disrespectful if I go next door which is silly I suppose but Kosta, Perry and Hannah have always been so great with us all over the years that I prefer to give them my custom.

We have only been to the Coconut a couple of times when they had the Frank Sinatra singer which was very good and another time in passing.  It all depends on what is going on when we pass by.  Only used the Malibu for the internet and to look at the turtles in the water under the bridge.  The Horizon is good too with some Greek dancing but we went to the Latin/Salsa evening twice as it was so good.  But the rest of the resort is quiet usually. Some of the other restaurants have Greek evenings as well.
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

Last summer Heidi, Lindypops & Toyboy caught a Magic show in Coconut, which was fun. In Malibu we just went to surf on the computers and enjoy a cold drink or two whilst updating our blogs. Life was seriously good :)

Thats why it is such a shame that the Whispers is no more.  I used to thaink that it was a lovely chill out bar for a bit of a change. Although Ammos has certainly cornered that market nowadays.

Lindypops

Indeed good fun EEG. It was a good job Heidi was in full control of the events of the evening, lol. Is there a minor detail that you need to update on your blog EEG? i.e. Birthday! Where will you celebrate this year?
Lindypops.

Erja

Hi ya Lindy!

It is under consideration at the moment where in Europe the merriment will commence at the end of August ;)
