I reckon my Dad must be a spring chicken then Sandy !
He's 77 and in his care home he's regarded by some of the elderly ladies in there as a "toy boy" !
I'll bet your Dad has a great time !
Hope I don't burn !

Hi
That made me wonder when I'd be eligible for a free passport - however it looks as if the answer is never.  Only those born before 2nd September 1929 qualify.
However good luck to your Dad, Sandy, am sure the Arillas ambience will put a spring in his step!
Best wishes
Pat

Are you staying at Poppys then Wendy?
If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

We arrive on 23rd May - getting excited already!  This will be the 3rd year on the trot.  This time we're staying at Villa Lemonia on Mastrogiannis Farm, Kavadades, though, and would love to hear any info on the farm, the villa, or the village.  I hear there's a good taverna
:-)

I have to admit , I've never heard of it but it sounds exactly like our kind of place! Do let us know if it's as lovely as it sounds.

I've just 'googled' it and found this:

Sounds wonderful!!

Agreed Angie - sounds idyllic. Eggy lives in Kavaddades, and though it is a short drive to Arillas, or a long walk,  it doesn't seem to keep him away (mores the pity...)

In truth, he knows my tongue just shot through my cheek - so looking forward to the banter and insult-trading we will be doing in July!

Kavaddades village is very attractive and has more mundane non-tourist shops than Arillas. Some of our taverna owning friends shop there for fresh vegetables etc to serve to their guests.

Would be too far out for us though, need to waddle home from the Nut at all hours...

Thanks - it sounds ideal.  There's a website for the farm, but it's still under construction at the moment: http://www.mastrogiannisfarm.com/
