Thinwhiteduke: You have made an excellent choice.  The Marina is wonderfully situated right by the beach, and close to all the tavernas.  Their menu is always good and am sure you will have a great holiday.

welcome to the forum thinwhiteduke. I have never stayed at the Marina but ate their many times and the food is excellent and staff really friendly.  Like Pat says, beautiful position with a lovely view of the beach. Love sitting there having a lazy lunch or breakfast. They have Greek Dancing on a Saturday night and it is always necessary to book as it is very popular.

Food good , company good, position to beach good.- Breakfast is a must - so much to choose from - eat it all - price the same!

The only thing that could go wrong is a hard bed and who gives a monkey when every thing else is hunky dory.

Still have no idea when Jen and I can get back where we belong.... just a little envious of those who do know. I might do another solo week in April/May, but the dream is to see Jen walking around Arillas in the autumn.

ThinwhiteDuke - welcome from me too. Marina is a cornerstone of the Arillas offer (just happens to be on the corner too....)  The owner Vasilios (always known as Vas) is a wonderful man, and wonderful host. Like others have said, it will be the perfect introduction to the joys of Arillas that we all keep banging on about. Wise choice of destination, wise choice of accommodation. Enjoy!
