We have been coming to Arillas for 4 years on our own and we feel it is about time to share our experience with the kids (aged 11 & 12).
Where is good to stay?
we only want self catering as we pretty much live at the beach and love to eat out.  Travelling preferentially from Stansted as it is closest.  Any ideas folks?

Well we stay right on the beachfront at the Marinaki.  They have everything you could need for self-catering (not that we have ever used these, due to the fabulous eateries in Arillas!).  We also have 3 boys (8, 8 and 12) and find these more than adequate.  The Kaloudis, Rainbow, Horizon, Irene Villas or Mirage would also probably be ideal. I'm sure if you check the accommodation pages out you will find the perfect place.

Good luck!! One question, how on earth have you managed 4 years without the kids?!

what can i say .... divorce is a wonderful thing ;-)

we are both divocees and for the last 4 years we have managed to sneak away to Arillas when our respective partners have our kids.  This year we decided we would take 2 of them and show them our Haven :-))))

looks like we may be going back to the Kaloudis (via Thompson) in a 2 room appt.  We stayed there last year, basic but nicely right on the beach.

likewise we never use the appartments for anything but sleep, the beach is fantastic and the local food on offer is just amazing!!! we absolutely love it!!!

We are also doing a bit of investigating this year, as we are hoping to get married at Arillas in 2009 :-))))

We have stayed at the Kaloudis 5 times, 6 and 7 next year.
Hope you and your Children enjoy if you go there. Shame you could not have taken them before this year.
