driving from corfu airport

I am thinking of hiring a car to collect from the airport to save the cost of a transfer. What is it like driving from Corfu airport to Arillas. I am going for a relaxing holiday and don't want to spend my first hour of the holiday fighting with my husband!

We took a couple of wrong turns the first time we drove from the airport but thought
why worry. Although keen to get to the hotel and start the holiday proper,we just enjoyed the detour and still managed to get there well before the transfer bus.

Hi,

Once your out of Corfu town its fairly straightforward. We were lucky this year as the guy who rented us the car was going back to Sidari so he just told us to follow him. When we needed to go our seperate ways he pulled over and gave us directions for the rest of our journey (only about 15 mins)

Hi all, thanks for everyones advice. Have decided to book Mathraki Apts as only cost 210 euros/ room for a week in May including airport transfers. So thankfully won't have to drive from Corfu Airport!

Hi. Depends who`s driving, but generally around 30-40 minutes.

Would probably take me an hour then Lindypops! But if I follow a certain red Pug, maybe about 25 mins! Think we'll stick with our taxi.....
