I am on holiday from work next week and I have two choices. Stay at home and play with my cement mixer and do lots of DIY, or go away for a week. Its agony knowing that I am off work and can't get to Arillas.

If anyone sees any cheap flights, could they let me know please. I keep looking but they are all well over £200 per person.

Cheers

Why don't you see if there are any last minute packages to Corfu? Sometimes these are really cheap, then you could make your way to Arillas and find a room when you get there - you would have no problem at this time of year and now you have your £200 refund from Libra, you are a wealthy man!

Terry there was plenty of rooms available when we were there. (10th -17th).

Terry, why not try Corfuescape, they often have last minute deals that work out cheaper than flight only, there is a link to their site on this page,
Good Luck,

Anybody want to but a cement mixer?

Ang

Terry good luck mate,I have been searching for weeks and do a daily search.I note that you live in the midlands and whilst the prices are better from either B'ham or east midlands and we have been content to go from either as I work up there most of the week, I have drawn a blank either due to flight times or price.

Hi Terry - Just looked at Thomas Cook for Friday night flights from EMA which are nearly always available last minute, but nothing.  Also looked at the Thomson flight we are going on this Friday from Manchester and it's well over £300 each now and they're not even offering a full week (go Friday come back Wednesday).  We paid £144 for a full week.

Must be due to XL pulling out of October flights that the others have got so booked.  Maybe with all the mergers of the big boys next year, things will improve.

A work colleague says he has got a week in Xante, B&B, from EMA next week and it cost him £380 for the two of them.  Cheapies are available, think you just have to sniff them out!!

Good luck!

You can get a cheap flight, if there's such a thing now,  and I'll get you a cheap studio.
( I can't wait for you to hire a car!!! )
