Just caught up on your reports Phil (working all weekend)
Looks like you and Jen are well and truly BACK HOME.
It may be the end of the season but Arillas is still so much alive.

By the way we get in 12 hours before you in july so we will be looking to get a towel on that sunbed opposite the Horizon.

Continue to enjoy the remainder of the week, give our Love to all
Tell Eggy that Dot has got some new boxers (no smiley faces on them) lol

love to both

It is 10am just now. The day started overcast and drizzly, but the sun is doing its best to brighten thjings up. A mild 65 degrees, breezy, but very pleasant start to another "Arillas Today."

Brouklis amazed us last night in more ways than one. Every seat inside was occupied and many outside, where we were. The lamb was its usual glorious self, and enjoyed by many. And yes, we did get a slice of galactoboureko. mmmmmm.....

We spent the afternoon at the Bow with Eggy and various assorted mates. All in all a very enjoyable time yet again. It will get quieter now Eileen has departed (oops - I'll pay for that later lol!) but we for two will be sadder for her absence. And also for Barry and Susan, whom we will miss just as much.

Arillas is still here, and for a while so are we. Must be going now - I heard the top coming off a Mythos bottle....

Enjoy the Mythos Phil and have a couple for me.

Glad to see you are relaxing and enjoying yourselves.  65 degrees - much better than the -5 we had in NE Derbyshire this morning.

Alan matey, even our online gizmo said it was -3 in Glastonbury. Can't be that worried  though, we are here in Arillas.

Arillas Today was Wet Wet Wet, and it might just get ugly tonight. Bring it on I shout. I just adore the thunderstorms here!

Jen's legs are wobblier than ever but we made it to the Bow. Watched all of their last guests but one couple depart back to whatever awaits them "at home." The last couple were two fellas from the North, and they promised me they would come back to Arillas. Time will tell.... They were still waiting for their transport to the airport when we said our fond goodbyes to Spiros and Jimmy. We have truly spent all day at the Rainbow and loved every minute. Our reprobate Eggy appeared, many darts and beers were consumed, and in general that was our Arillas. Natters with people we love, and who love us back. Arillas Today might be waiting for the storm, but Phil and Jen remain their largest fans. Along with...... you?

Good to hear you enjoying your half term break Phil and Jen. Arillas may have fewer guests at the moment but it gives you both time to relax, so relish the peace and quite because next time ( July?) is bound to be hectic!!!!!!!

The two fellas from the north would have possibly be returning to the Sunderland area.
I'm sure they will return. the youngest one was in Arillas in July stayed at the Rainbow same time as us and we met them both last summer when we were at the Marvel.

You may recall me speaking to him in the Nut on a couple of occasions.
not sure if they come on the forum but they do like to be at HOME.

He told me he would be back at the Rainbow with his friend at the end of the season

Just got in !
Coach drive through the Troumpetta Pass was spectacular as we actually climbed through big black clouds over the top.
Started sheeting it down at the airport so bit of a delay till it calmed down a bit.
Louie the Springer got so excited when he welcomed us he rolled on his back and weed just a little bit !
So did I !
Hope I don't burn !

Arillas woke us up to a stunning, sunny and warm day. Yesterday's rain seems like ancient history. It will be a quiet one for us, just pootling about around the sea front. A delightful prospect indeed.

There is plenty of Mythos left but I'm working on it....
